Chapter Twenty Seven

M/n looked in the mirror and sighed as he was getting ready for the day.

'Christmas day...but something feels off'
M/n shook his head slightly before going out to deliver his gifts. He walked to each person's home and left the gift at their door. He is just going to meet up with Taiju later at the church, he wanted to just do this first.

(M/n's pov)
As I walked I couldn't help but think, what's my goal? I want to become the most feared Omega but...can I? Even if I'm the Luna of three gangs, can I achieve my goal? What if I chicken out like before? Maybe I should give up, maybe I really am...

'You're weak'

'No one will ever love you'

'You look so pretty as a little girl'

I shake my head as I tried to get rid of those thoughts. No I can't think like that, I'll just go to the church after this. After giving all the gifts and the sun had set, I went to the church to meet with Taiju. 

Takemichi was trying to convince Hakkai to not kill Taiju, saying there's another way.

"You don't get it! If M/n is with him then M/n will be abused! I never thought I could find my mate, not in a million years. I didn't know I had met him back then, if I did I would have looked for him sooner"

"But killing Taiju isn't the way! M/n wouldn't like you killing someone!"

"How would you know?! M/n was dead set on killing Mikey before when you two pushed him away. I know I may not have spent too much time with him, but I know I can say that M/n does whatever he wants. He's so strong and I want to become someone worthy of his love"

"But how will killing Taiju do that?"
Just then Taiju walked in making Hakkai and Takemichi freeze in fear. But then Hakkai went to stab Taiju but was stopped by Taiju.
"You could never do anything right"
Taiju said as he held Hakkai in the air by his throat. Takemichi called out to Taiju making him throw Hakkai to the side.

"You're causing a lot of trouble and once again you're butting into Shiba family issues, I guess it's makes sense seeing as I'm M/n's mate. So brother-in-law I guess I should welcome you into the Shiba family, huh"
Taiju walked towards Takemichi while still taunting Hakkai about killing him. Then he started to beat Takemichi, slowly increasing the force of power in each hit. 

(M/n's pov)
I walked along the road, making my way to the church Taiju told me to meet him at. I can't help but feel like something bad is going to happen. But it's probably nothing, since being Luna of three gangs I started getting paranoid. I think I know what I should do but would it work? I looked up at the church and sighed, guess I should at least explain my idea.

I walked up the stairs and for some reason got this gut turning feeling. I walked to the door and heard a crashing sound coming from inside. I ran in and saw Hakkai and Yuzuha at the door, Takemichi and Taiju at the front of the church. I walked over to Yuzuha and looked at her face, I could see she was hit. I went to walk to Taiju but Hakkai stopped me.

"Don't M/n, he'll hurt you"
I place my hand on his arm.

"Don't worry about me Hakkai"
I walked over to Taiju and stood in front of him.

"M/n, go home now"

"Why should I? It seems to be a family gathering here, as your mate I should be here too"

"M/n just go home this is Shiba family matters"

"Oh! It is? Then as your mate, I should be here as well or could it be that you plan on hurting Hakkai and Yuzuha again? No, that can't be it right? I mean I'm sure I said something about hurting them again"
I walked closer to him making him back up.

"But you wouldn't go against my words right? So why can't I be here? Well...are you going to answer me?"

"M-M/n please just listen to me, she stabbed me!"
I looked back at Yuzuha then saw the knife on the ground, I picked it up as I continued to walk towards him.

"Stabbed? Yet you seem perfectly fine to me"
I twirled the knife in my hands.

"So that means you're not hurt too bad, right?"
I can see fear in Taiju's eyes as he looked at me, but I warned him about hurting his siblings. 

"Well if you want to hit someone so bad, hit me"

"What?!"
Taiju looked at me in shock.

"No, I couldn't-"

"But you can hit them with no problem, if I'm going to be your mate and part of the Shiba family shouldn't you be hitting me too?"

"Just go home!"

"Why? So you can  go back to trying to kill your siblings?"

Taiju stared at M/n, he didn't want him to get involved. He knows M/n won't let him live this down and he'll be punished for hit Yuzuha. Taiju sighed and got on his knees as M/n walked over to him. Once in front of him M/n held the knife to his neck and looked at him with emotionless eyes.

"I've warned you about going against my rules"
M/n pushed on the knife gently making it start pressing into Taiju's neck.

"I had told you if I see you hit Yuzuha again, I'd kill you myself"
The knife broke skin just enough for a single drop of blood to trail down his neck.

"M/n, that's enough we can't have you killing him"

"Stay out of it Takashi"
Mitsuya walked behind M/n and hugged him.

"You can't kill him"

"Why not? People who say they do horrendous things for family are nothing but trash!"
Takemichi looked at M/n as he knew what M/n was talking about and why he was so angry.

"M/n...calm down"

"No! People like him are trash!"
M/n went to stab Taiju but Mitsuya stopped him and held him close. M/n's body shook as he was feeling so many emotions. Mitsuya whispered in M/n's ear making him calm down and drop the knife.

(M/n's pov)
I listened to Takashi's voice and started to calm down, but those thoughts are still there. I felt Takashi move me to one of the benches in the back.

"Stay here, I'll fight for you"
He whispered before going to face Taiju, as this is happening there's only one thing I could think about.

'Why do I always end up feeling weak?'
