Day later the tributes were taken to an area where they saw their mentors. They were chained to the table as Viola stayed silent to let Lucy do all the talking. "I'm so sorry about your classmate." Lucy said making Coriolanus say, "Thank you. Are you guys, okay?" Lucy gave a smile showing she was strong and said, "Wearing my mama's dress and Viola wearing her dad suit dress is the only thing keeping us together here. It's like they're wrapping their arms around me. My mother used to smell like roses. She died in childbirth. I was going to have a little sister." This made Coriolanus then say, "Both your parents gone? So, you're an orphan. Like me." Lucy shook her head. "My aunt her mom is still alive." Coriolanus looked at Viola, her hair was in her face as she was looking down.

"Look... I need you to sing and play in these interviews later. It's the night before the Games and your last chance to win people over. I can't send you gifts in the arena without their money." Coriolanus said, making Lucy sigh. "Maybe a Vi's violin could persuade me. Maybe." Viola then said, "You really wanna take care of us in that arena, Coriolanus? Start by thinking we can actually win." Coriolanus brought his hand to Viola's hair, pushing it behind her ear, making her blush.

"Snow. Dovecote." A man called for Coriolanus, making him get up to walk with a girl. "You know Viola Snow does sound really pretty." Lucy whispered, this made Viola look at Lucy like she was crazy but before she could say anything they were taken away.

The tributes arrived at the arena that they were using. Lucy, Viola, and the little girl held hands walking in. But the guards removed them as an announcement was being made. "Welcome to the arena for the 10th annual Hunger Games. Tributes, mentors, you have 15 minutes to survey the space and discuss strategy." Lucy then whispered to her cousin. "If anything happens. Hide and don't you ever come out. Ok?" Viola nodded, as Lucy whispered to herself. "Coriolanus, please don't let me die in here tomorrow." Suddenly the whole building started to crumble around them and both girls fell to the ground. Coriolanus was stuck under a pole making the girls try to get him up, but they were taken. All Coriolanus heard was. "CORIO!"

 "CORIO!"
