Surgeon Seungcheol and his assistant Chan are treating a patient together, the younger one has been accompanying the older one for a long time now, and the two boys get on quite well, and have done from the start. They listen to and understand each other, they help each other out and are relatively calm, and the hospital patients really enjoy seeing this duo take care of them, because as the two get on well, they really behave like a little couple, teasing each other a lot and making their patients laugh and pass the time.

Seungcheol has to operate on the stomach of a patient who has taken a knife to the stomach and, unfortunately, the wound has become infected, so it's essential to operate and treat the wound, otherwise it will get worse and no doubt leave the young girl with horrible after-effects, which she obviously doesn't want.

" Chan tap the box on the door over there."

" Tap ? Usually that's not what we do we have to press a button."

" The button's broken so tap on the door or the box but tap, don't press it."

" I'll tap on something else if you keep talking to me like that."

Chan grunts slightly and Seungcheol swallows hardly, he doesn't have time to worry about the younger man any more than that he has an operation to perform and succeed, the younger man on his side goes to tap against the door and he also taps on the box, some noises and lights activate ans this sends an electric shock through Chan's hand, the young man doesn't understand what's going on, he thinks there are wires and cables wrongly connected so he looks at how the machine is made and he understands really quickly what needs to be done.

At the same time, the on-call doctors arrive and hand over a cart containing useful items for the rest of the operation. Chan thanks them and also asks for a toolbox, so that he can be sure of being able to fix it by the time someone comes to repair it. Before becoming Seungcheol's assistant, he worked with his father in a mechanics' business, so he knows a thing or two about it. The doctors understood and went to get what they needed.

The assistant has gone to take the cart to his eldest son, and is still annoyed by the surgeon's tone towards him. Seungcheol understands this well, so by the time a certain product takes effect, he comes to place a quick, chaste kiss on his secret boyfriend's cheek. The latter rolls his eyes and pats his elder's arm, then the doctors on duty come knocking at the door. Chan goes straight away, thanks the men and they tell him there's no problem, the younger one gets to work and while he's doing his little manipulation, Seungcheol finishes his operation.

Seungcheol leaves his patient to rest, and asks Chan to follow him, at first the assistant says nothing, but eventually he shrugs his shoulders and leaves the room, the surgeon sighs and leaves the room too, he comes across the girl's parents, the man explains that his patient is out of danger, that the operation was a success and that she needs plenty of rest to recover.

The parents thanked the surgeon and he bent down politely to apologize for having to go so quickly, but he absolutely had to talk to Chan and explain himself to him. Of course, it's not the first time this has happened, but he really doesn't like arguing with his boyfriend, and he knows exactly where he can be.
