Eisen was praying for his family until he heard footsteps.

Frieren: Hello there. I thought we'd drop by. 

Eisen: You both act like it hasn't been 30 years.

Frieren: So not very long at all then.

Eisen: Hm, I suppose not.

Inside of Eisen's house they drank some tea.

Eisen: I never thought you would take on an apprentice. 

Sozin: Eisen...we came to see if there is anything we can help you with?

Eisen:(Looks down at tea) I'm not done here yet. I heard you both paid a visit to Heiter before he passed away and asked him the very same question.

Sozin: How do you know that?

Eisen smile and closed his eyes.

Eisen: Heiter and I wrote often. 

Frieren: You're much friendlier than you appear.

Eisen: Or perhaps you aren't friendly enough.

Frieren: Well, tell me. Is there anything we can do?

A few days later

Eisen showed them a valley called-

Frieren: Voll Basin. This takes me back.

Eisen: So you've been here before?

Frieren: Long ago.

Eisen: "Long Ago" she says. How long would that be?

Fern whispers to Eisen.

Fern: Probably in the prehistoric times.

Sozin held in a laugh and pats Fern's head.

Frieren: Not even I have lived that long.

A few minutes later they were climbing a mountain.

Frieren: Explain, what are we looking for?

Eisen looks down at the three.

Eisen: The notes of Flamme the legendary mage.

Frieren: (Groan) If you insist. But you know most of her supposed writing is fake.

Eisen: Not this one. I have a lead from Heiter, he deduced the location from records on Flamme left in the holy city. Her note are located somewhere here in Voll Basin. Think back Frieren. You must remember that.

Frieren: His Research was in-depth.

They look around the field.

Frieren: Quite driven for a corrupt priest. Let's begin we can start looking for a giant tree.

Eisen: A giant tree, that's ridiculous. We're in a forest full of them. Well, I do suppose you do have all the time in the world.

Frieren: That I do.

Fern pouts in the background.

Sozin: T_T welp Fern(Losing his sanity) Looks like we're doing this again!

Frieren: But Fern and Sozin don't like when I work leisurely, so I'll try to be quick.

Fern spins around looking at Frieren and Eisen.

Fern: Let's search as efficiently as possible.

Sozin: YEAAAAAH BABY!

Sozin and Fern walked off with Frieren behind them but Eisen spoke.
