On a carriage an elf who was reading a book while a man was napping next to her. A voice was heard.

???: Frieren, Sozin.

Sozin woke up and looks over at a man with blue hair.

Sozin: (Still tired) Huh? Yeah Himmel?

His friend points out Sozin looked over and his eyes widen for a bit then smiles.

Frieren: The royal capital.

???: They're celebrating the triumphant return of their heroes. I can feel the excitement from here.

Himmel: We'll have to start looking for work.

Frieren looked over at her companion.

Frieren: You're already concerned about employment?

Himmel: As we all should be. Slaying the demon king was one chapter, but read on, for we've stories yet to tell and lives yet to live.

Shortman: Lives full of work.

???: I would take any job they let me drink in.

Sozin: -_- you're asking for too much.

All the men laugh.

Frieren: I suppose you're right.

Himmel looks over at Frieren.

Himmel: Frieren, the life that lies ahead of you will be far longer that the rest of us could know or we could begin to comprehend.

Frieren: Yes perhaps.

She looks over to Sozin who smiled at the Capital.

A few minutes later

The group pass through the gates and were greeted with the towns people cheering.

Castle

King: Himmel the hero. Eisen the warrior, Heiter the priest, Sozin the ranger and Frieren the mage. You have our wholeheartedly thanks for defeating the Demon King. Your efforts have launched our world into an age of prosperity and peace.

Night

Fireworks were shot into the air and the townsfolk were dancing around. The heroes were enjoying their meal as Frieren walks up.

Himmel: Rumor has it that the king is going to erect statues of us in the plaza.(Moves hair away) Though I doubt they'll be able to capture the complexities on my good looks.

He sits down next to Sozin.

Himmel: How I pity the poor sculptor.

Frieren: It's a self-serving tribute. When we left he was willing to offer us only copper coins.

Sozin: (Sigh) It was so hard to buy some new arrows.

Heiter: Aw, don't keep your head in the past. Tonight the gallant adventurers drink for free. I would say that would make us even wouldn't you.

Frieren: I'm not a corrupt priest.

Heiter: (Laughing)

Sozin: (Chuckle) Always has to be happy about something.

After party

Eisen: It's over, isn't it?

Himmel: Indeed.
