Frieren and Sozin: Beyond Journey's end

The Hero's sword

Frieren, Sozin, Fern and Stark walked through the snow. Well Frieren was on Sozin's back. His eyes look at her to see her trying to stay awake.

Sozin: Hey, guys Frieren is getting tired.

Fern looked over to see this.

Fern:.....

Sozin: What is it Fern?

Fern walked over and made Sozin hold her.

Sozin:....You are old enough Fern.

Fern: :3

Sozin:....

Sozin: Held her close and kept walking.

Stark: Uh.

Sozin snaps his finger and a giant hand appears grabbing Stark and the bags and walked forward.

In Frieren's dreams

We see Sozin(Ranger) Himmel, Heiter, Eisen and herself in front of the king. Then it cuts to them walking through the fields of flowers.

Eisen: The audacity.

Sozin had steam coming out of his head as he grumbled.

Eisen: A measly ten copper coin is all the king could part with?

Frieren: What a cheapskate.

Sozin: He better be glad we took this job in the first place.

Heiter: I'm not surprised. Many heroes have tried and failed to defeat the demon king over the years. You can't fund every adventurer. 

Himmel: It's no problem. We'll earn money to cover our expenses along the way. There's nothing wrong with this approach.

He pulls his sword out and looks at it.

Himmel: It's part of the adventure.

Heiter: I suppose so.

Sozin: Heh.

Sozin walked next to Himmel and pulled his sword out as well.

Sozin: Welp, this should be fun.

Frieren looked at Himmel's sword.

Frieren: Hold on, your weapon. That's the hero sword.

Heiter: No, it's a replica.

Frieren: Hm?

Himmel: (Looking back) Me and Sozin once rescued a merchant who was attacked in our hometown. This sword was my reward. The man said I'd be a hero one day. That bow Sozin has is a replica too.

Sozin: It's not a big deal though. I was always good with shooting bows.

Frieren: Is that what made you chose this path?

Himmel: Not really. See there was this annoying brat named Heiter at the village orphanages. He kept telling me I'd only ever be a fake hero because I wielded a fake sword.

Heiter: :)

Himmel: He was such a pain. I figured if I proved him wrong, I'd have the last laugh. So here I am. One of these days I'll hold the real Hero sword and use it to defeat the demon king. 

Sozin: Well what are we sitting here for? Let's get it moving.

Sozin walked forward putting his hands behind his head.
