Sozin and Fern were sleeping on Frieren's shoulder.
Sein: You three seem close. How long have you been traveling together?
Frieren: For me and Sozin it's been a very long time. Fern began to travel with us four years ago she knew us longer before traveling with us.
Stark: It's been about a year for me.
Sein:(Chuckle) Makes sense.
It now cuts to the group walking up the stairs.
Sein: You know. There's something this party lacks.
Frieren: What?
Sein: Wanna take a guess?
Frieren: Hm, we got our front-liner, a decent priest, and a near-surplus of mages.
Fern: Could you mean a thief? Someone to out swindle the mimic? She's always falling for.
Sozin:.....
Frieren: When it comes to treasure chest, the reward always outweighs the risk. Right, my love.
Sozin:
Sein: No. What we lack is something even more vital. And that's a nice-looking older lady! Most parties won't even leave town until they find a broad!
Sozin: We'll find some at the next village.
Frieren: Excuse me?
Sozin: We'll find you some at the same village.
Frieren: Almost made me get Fern.
The party walks through the city not seeing anyone at first.
Stark:(Gasp)
Everyone looks down to see a woman on the ground not moving. Sozin looked around to see everyone on the ground not moving.
Sozin: They're alive.
Stark: What's the deal with this place? Why'd they all fall asleep?
Frieren: I say we move along to the next village. It smells like trouble.
Fern: Even for you that's cold.
Frieren: I was only teasing.
Sein and Sozin were over a person.
Sein: A curse no doubt.
Sozin: Yeah, this is growing to be a pain.
Stark walked over.
Stark: Sorry for asking this dumb question, master. But what is a curse?
Sozin: It's not dumb, but curses are something humankind hasn't unraveled yet. They were made by demons or monsters. They could turn you to stone or in this case put you to sleep. Something mages can't explain yet.
