Chapter 47 - My Honey Boo

Aurora's POV

What am I doing?

I've been acting like a bitch to everyone as per Diana orders. What if people hate me? Well, people already hate me. Even so, I don't hate the way my life is now. I feel like the world is mine. I turned to Svetlana who is sleeping face down on the bed. Blanca is in the bathroom, getting herself ready for the day.

I should get up myself but I'm way too lazy to move my legs. Blanca got it from the bathroom wearing only her robe while drying her hair with a towel. My gosh- this woman is trying to seduce me and she doesn't even know it.

Blanca smiled as she walks towards the walk in closet and starting choosing what to wear. I got up, went to the bathroom and get myself ready. After I'm done, I went into the walk in closet and choose what to wear.

"Aurora- what do you think? Should I use the rubies today or the diamonds? Or should I widen my option and choose the golds instead."

I hummed before telling her to wear the diamonds since she looks better in diamonds. Blanca turned to face the full body mirror and put on her jewelry.

"Svetlana is still asleep?"

I nodded while putting on a dress.

"Ler her sleep. She must have been tired."

Blanca hummed before she grabbed a pair of red bottom heels. She decided to wear a  white Oxford shirt and pair it with a beige Aran sweater. To complete her looks, she decided to wear a white tapered chinos and used a leathered belt for elegance.

"You look hot."

Blanca chuckled.

"Oh honey, you look way beautiful than I am."

Really? I choose to wear a simple beige dress just above the knee and covered myself with a beige colour wrap coat. To complete the look, I choose a black high knee boots. Diana told me to dress to impress now that eveyone know who I am. The elites may try to make small talks to me while others tried to take advantage of me.

I need to show that I am not a simple person that they could simply make fun off.

"Good morning."

Svetlana said as she finally wakes up. That woman continue to yawn before walking towards the bathroom.

"Should we wait for her to get ready and walk dowsntair together?"

Blanca asked. I shrugged my shoulder before she went to the bathroom and ask the lady herself.

"She said we could just go down. She said she needs to change her bandages."

I nodded and went downstairs with Blanca. As we walked into the dining room, Diana is already at the table, enjoying her breakfast while reading the morning paper. We greet each other before sitting down on the chair.

The maids came out from the kitchen and placed a plate in front of us.

"Blanca, is there anything you would like to tell me?"

Blanca shake her head no.

"None that I know off."

Diana hummed.

"Aurora?"

I shake my head no.

"Then it must be Svetlana. Where is she?"

Blanca explained why Svetlana is not here at the moment. A few minutes later, Svetlana came down to have breakfast with us.

"Svetlana, is there anything you would like to tell me?"

Svetlana smiled before she takes a sip of her water.

"I may or may not have done something. Why? Did they reached out to you?"

Diana sighed.

"You can say that. Your guardian wants me to deal with it accordingly. You know exactly what I want, right?"

Svetlana nodded.

"Complete annihilation. Got it."

Huh? What is happening?

"Don't mind then. Svetlana did something awful and now the adults need to clean up her mess."

I watched as Svetlana eats her breakfast like she never eaten for a week. When she realised how messy she is, she apologise before smiling at me.

"Aurora, would you like me to drive you to the university? Looking at how Blanca is dressing, I'm guessing she has other things to do today."

Really? I thought she would be able to come to class today.

"Sure. But where are you going?"

I turned to Blanca.

"I have a meeting to go to. I'll be back by tomorrow morning. Promise."

Wait- tomorrow morning? She won't be back by tonight?

"The meeting is being held in another state. But I've sent all of my assignments and told the lecturers about my absence beforehand. They said as long as I did my part as a student, it should be fine."

Diana placed her morning paper down and said,

"Are you sad that you won't be able to see Blanca until tomorrow? Don't worry. Soon, you'll be as busy as she is. And at that time, Svetlana would be the one who feel lonely."

Svetlana swallowed her food hard.

"It's okay. I'll used to it. You do you, honey. Don't worry about me."

Should I be happy that Lana doesn't mind that I won't be there all the time or should I be offended that she doesn't even try to coax me to balance my workload and personal life? Either way it's bad. I sighed. I beginning to think that my choice of living is not the best decision.

But then again, Diana is would probably feel this way when the pressure is too intense. I would begin to think how life should be if I choose to be the old Aurora. But then again, that choice would made my parents sacrifice all in vain.

I was deep in thoughts when I notice something on Svetlana's arm. Blanca notice it too as she suddenly grabbed onto Svetlana arm before giving her a look.

"What happened to your arm? This is a new wound."

Svetlana keep munching the food in her mouth before swallowing it.

"I think this is a gunshot wound. Yesterday was wild after all."

Diana chuckled.

"I'm surprise that both of you are so concerns about a little wound rather than the things she's done to get it. I received calls from people I don't even know existed until this morning. You should be grateful to have such a kind mother in law."

Mother in law? Diana smiled before she looks at the time.

"It's time for me to go. I'll see you two at dinner. And see you tomorrow, Blanca."

I watched as Diana leaves the dining room.

"It seems I have to go too."

Blanca got up, gather her things before she gave me a quick kiss on the lips. Blanca then walk to Svetlana, whispered into her ear before giving her a kiss on the head.

"Wait, no kiss on the lips?"

Blanca gave Svetlana a look.

"Your mouth has sauce on it. So no. Anyway, I'll shall see you two tomorrow."

I smiled, waved my hands and watched her go.
