Aurora's PoV
Is there a way for me to avoid getting into trouble with everyone? Why is everyone treating me like shit?! I don't even know them that well. First that Stanley kid- then the lunch lady, and now a group of hot girls telling me to back off! Back off from who?!
"Aurora, what are you doing?"
Felicity walked into the bathroom while I was washing my stained clothes.
"Nothing. When did you get back?"
Felicity tried to look at what I was doing, but I covered it with my body.
"Oh, I just got here. But what are you doing? And what is this smell? It smelled like rotten eggs."
I smiled at Felicity before turning my body and facing her.
"Oh, it's probably what I ate."
Felicity tried to look at the sink, but I forbade her.
"Did someone throw spoiled eggs on you?"
How did she know?! I shook my head and tried to wave it off.
"Of course not. What gives you that idea?"
Felicity gave me a look before pulling me away from the sink.
"I knew it- who did this to you?"
Felicity asked while picking the dirtied shirt from the sink and throwing it in the bin. I could still use that shirt, though.
"Aurora, if you're scared to tell me the one who did this to you, I have no choice but to tell Blanca. And you saw what she did to those who bullied your friends before."
What?! Is Felicity threatening me? I sighed.
"It's a group of girls. I think they're cheerleaders. They seem mad at me for something I don't know about. I was walking towards the library when they stopped me mid-way and told me to stay away from you and Blanca."
And here I thought high school cheerleaders were the worst. But nothing can compare to how university cheerleaders act. Even though I am an adult, I'm scared of them. Who knows what crazy things they do in a group?
"Just because Blanca decided not to join the cheerleading team this year. Huh- pathetic! Just throw it away. You're a billionaire, are you not? Oh, please don't give me that look. I know you're a Larove. Blanca told me."
Blanca told her?!
"And if you think I'm only close to you because of that, you're wrong. I only knew it after the first day of orientation. Lady Diana hinted, but I was too stupid to understand her words. It was Blanca who told me the truth. And you shouldn't be scared of anyone. You're a Larove! And you have the Vladimirs and Voltaria backing you up. People should be scared of you."
I laughed at the thoughts of people scared of me.
"Wait, lady Diana didn't tell you the benefits you have as a Larove?"
I shake my head no. Perhaps she did, but I was too busy trying to make sense of everything.
"Aurora, Larove may have gone into its darkest moments right now, but nothing can change the fact they still have bits of influence left in the world. Money makes this world go round, and your ancestors flaunt it like there's no tomorrow. They built this country from the ground up from corrupted leaders. The Larove controls government officials like puppets at their disposal. That's what Larove is. And you're scared of a bunch of cheerleaders who can't even care for themselves without their parent's money?"
Whoa- my ancestor did what?!
"So please, don't keep your troubles to yourself. If you think the situation is dire, reach out for help. You have me, Blanca, and the others. Stop bottling your feelings to yourself. Tell us."
