Every morning, Y/N took the same bus to school, her routine as predictable as the sunrise. But there was one constant that made her heart race every time-the sight of Jaehyun. He stood at the bus stop, often with his headphones on, lost in his own world. His features were striking, with soft, delicate lines that made him look almost ethereal in the morning light. Y/N couldn't help but think he was the most beautiful person she had ever seen.

Each day, she would take a seat near the window, stealing glances at him when she thought he wouldn't notice. She admired how he laughed with his friends, the way his eyes sparkled, and how effortlessly cool he seemed. But every time she considered speaking to him, her nerves would get the best of her. "What if he thinks I'm weird? What if I say something stupid?"

As the weeks turned into months, Y/N found herself in a cycle of admiration and self-doubt. She would catch his eye occasionally, and her heart would skip a beat, but she never managed to muster the courage to say anything.

One particularly chilly morning, Y/N arrived at the bus stop earlier than usual. She wrapped her scarf tightly around her neck, shivering slightly as she waited. To her surprise, Jaehyun was already there, leaning against the pole, his breath visible in the cold air.

She felt her cheeks flush as she took a seat on the bench, her heart pounding in her chest. Today felt different; she could feel the weight of unspoken words pressing on her. As she glanced over, she caught him looking her way. Their eyes met for a brief moment, and Y/N quickly looked down, her heart racing.

"Hey!" Jaehyun's voice broke through her thoughts, warm and inviting.

Y/N's head shot up, and she met his gaze, surprised. "H-Hey," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

He smiled, a genuine, bright smile that made her heart flutter. "I see you on this bus every day. I'm Jaehyun, by the way."

"Y/N," she replied, her cheeks burning. She couldn't believe they were actually talking.

"Nice to meet you, Y/N," he said, his eyes sparkling. "You're always so focused on your book. What are you reading?"

"Oh, um..." She fumbled for her book, holding it up. "It's a fantasy novel. I love getting lost in different worlds."

"That sounds awesome! I love fantasy too. What's it about?" he asked, genuinely interested.

As they talked, Y/N felt her nerves start to fade. Jaehyun was easy to talk to, and she found herself laughing and sharing little snippets about her favorite books. The bus arrived, and they boarded together, continuing their conversation as they found seats.

The days turned into weeks, and their morning chats became a cherished routine. Y/N looked forward to seeing Jaehyun, her shyness slowly melting away with each passing day. They talked about everything-books, music, and their dreams. Y/N learned that Jaehyun was passionate about photography and loved capturing moments in nature.

One morning, as they sat together, Jaehyun turned to her, a thoughtful expression on his face. "You know, I've really enjoyed getting to know you. You're not just pretty; you're really interesting too."

Y/N's heart raced at his words, a mix of surprise and happiness flooding her. "Thank you, Jaehyun. That means a lot to me."

He smiled, and for a moment, the world outside the bus faded away. It felt like they were the only two people in existence.
