I walked into the dark room where I had been keeping Angelica captive for the past few days. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as I watched her small figure huddled in the corner of the glass box I had placed her in. She was my captive, my pawn in my game against the hero, and I was enjoying every moment of it.

As I approached the box, Angelica's eyes widened with fear. She had been hoping for some sort of rescue or escape, but it seemed her hopes were dwindling with each passing day. She was a young woman, only in her twenties, but the fear and sadness in her eyes made her look much older.

"Good morning, my dear," I said, a sinister smile dancing on my lips. "How are we feeling today?"

Angelica remained silent, knowing that saying anything would only bring her more pain.

'"Well, I have a proposition for you," I continued, my voice dripping with malice. "You see, I have a feeling that your 'hero' will be coming for you soon. And I want to be prepared."

"What do you want from me?" Angelica asked, her voice shaking.

"I want information," I replied, tapping my fingers on the side of the glass box. "Your hero is quite notorious for his skills and abilities. I want to know everything about him. His strengths, his weaknesses, everything."

Angelica looked at me with confusion. I knew she was bound to lie to me about it. She had been a simple girl, living her life until she stumbled upon me and I took her hostage. How could she possibly have any information on a hero?

Her fiancee.

"I-I don't know anything about him," She stammered.

"Oh, my dear, I think you do," I said, my cold eyes boring into hers. "You see, I have been watching you for quite some time. You married him because he saved you from a near-death experience."

Angelica's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Please," She begged. "Let me go. I'll help you in any way I can. Just don't hurt me."

I chuckled at her desperate pleas. "I can't let you go just yet. I need to be sure that the hero is no longer a threat. But if you give me the information I need, I promise to give you something in return, not freedom but comfortability."

Angelica hesitated, unsure of whether or not to trust me. She took a deep breath and told me a small piece of information that wasn't quite important but it was a start.

My smile grew wider as I listened to Angelica's words. I now had the advantage over the hero, the upper hand in our battle. "Thank you for your cooperation, my dear. You have been most helpful."

"But it wasn't much, just a little-"

I chuckled and shushed her, "A little can be enough, my dear."

Without any further words, I turned and walked out of the room, leaving Angelica alone with her thoughts. I assumed she couldn't help but wonder what would happen now that she had given me the information I wanted. Would the hero still come for her? Or would she be trapped in this glass box forever, under the control of me?

Only time will tell.
