The family arrived at the airport at around 4:20. Parking up and making their way to check in. The queue took around 40 minutes but eventually the tags were slipped on each suitcase. Evan set his case on the belt finally and followed his family to security.
As they reached security Evan turned to see Jade and Ella both giggling and staring in another direction.
He showed his disgust as they stared at the employee before being patted down by another officer.
The next couple of hours went by slowly. But Evan talked to his sisters a lot. It helped to pass the time. He did however feel left out as they talked about clothes, makeup, boys or anything related. Leading to him putting in his earphones
The flight was around 2 hours and eventually they disembarked in Tenerife. The warm air hitting him like a ton of bricks as he left the plane. They walked into the airport and stood at baggage collection. The first four bags came out swiftly. Yet Evans grey case was nowhere to be seen. As more and more cases of other passengers came through it got less and less hopeful that Evan's would too. When the belt stopped distributing the bags. Evan's father went to ask a Spanish employee.
Unfortunately Evan's bag didn't make it through at Belfast. It was gonna be a couple of days before it's transported. They were basically told tough luck and sent on their way. Evan's father was fuming. Evan on the other hand was worried sick. He was wearing sweats and a hoodie, with nothing underneath the hoodie for comfort purposes. What would he do?
They got in a taxi. Evan's father still angry. Taking half an hour to reach the hotel. It was around 11:30am so relatively early. Evan was boiling hot. As he walked from the taxi to the hotel doors, sweat beaded on his forehead already. He dreaded the coming days.
