"Nice to meet you all," Valentina greeted warmly.
"Alright, let's move on," Luca interjected, turning to Valentina with concern. "Are you alright? What happened?"
"Nothing for you to worry about," Valentina replied.
"Nothing to worry about? Valentina, you just had a panic attack, and it seemed serious. Please, tell me what's wrong."
"It's really nothing, Luca. I just need to get home and take a nap," Valentina insisted, closing the car door.
Luca exchanged a confused glance with Nicho before getting back into the car, followed by Nicho and his brothers. The ride back to the Cassanders' mansion was silent, with not a word spoken.
Upon arrival, Luca helped Valentina out of the car and guided her inside, with Nicho and his brothers trailing quietly behind.
"Oh, how lovely to see you three again," Issabella exclaimed, greeting Nicho, Dante, and Dmitri and leading them to the living room.
Once settled, Issabella asked a servant to bring refreshments. Nicho and his brothers exchanged awkward smiles, waiting quietly for Luca to return.
Meanwhile, Luca had settled Valentina in her room and sat beside her, holding her hand. "You can tell me anything, Valentina. I'm here for you," he reassured gently.
"I know, but I just want to be alone right now and rest," Valentina said softly.
Luca nodded understandingly, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead before leaving the room.
"Could you explain why you're here?" Issabella asked with a puzzled expression.
"They're here because I asked them to, Mother," Luca said, appearing in the doorway.
Issabella looked at Luca with a mix of surprise and curiosity. "And why did you ask them to come, Luca?" she inquired.
"Nothing too important for you to worry about," Luca replied.
"Alright, I'll leave you men to your discussion. But does this need to be brought to your father's attention?"
The room grew tense as Luca hesitated. "No, Mother. This is a personal matter that doesn't involve Father," he finally said.
Issabella nodded, accepting Luca's response. "Very well. I'll leave you to your discussion," she said, excusing herself.
Nicho, Dante, and Dmitri exchanged glances, unsure of what to expect. Luca took a deep breath. "I called you here because I need your help—not just with the family business and Valentina. There's more, and I'll explain on the way to the Lorenzis mansion," he stated seriously.
As they prepared to leave for the Lorenzis mansion, the tension was palpable. Nicho broke the silence, asking, "Luca, aren't you going to tell us why we're going there?"
Luca hesitated before responding, "They owe my sister an apology," he said angrily.
****************
At the Lorenzis mansion, Leonardo and Angelo were in the gazebo when Angelina, Zuko, and Adrian arrived from school.
"Hello, my precious little gem. How was school today?" Leonardo asked Angelina as he lit a cigarette, Angelo lighting a cigar beside him.
"It was fine, Leonardo. We had a lot of fun," Angelina replied.
Angelo eyed them suspiciously, his gaze landing on Adrian. "Is that blood on your shirt?" he asked, noticing a red stain.
Adrian glanced down and quickly tried to cover it. "Oh, it's nothing, just a lab accident," he mumbled.
Angelo raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. "A little accident, huh?"
Just then, Leonardo received a call from a guard informing him of Luca Cassander's arrival. His expression turned serious as he ended the call.
"We have unexpected guests," Leonardo said to Angelo.
Angelo nodded, his expression also serious. "I wonder what brings Luca Cassander here."
"I guess we'll find out," Leonardo replied, standing up.
As they approached the entrance, they found Luca and the brothers waiting. The tension was palpable as the groups faced each other.
"Luca, what brings you and your companions here?" Leonardo asked, his tone neutral.
"Don't play dumb. It's cowardly to harm a teenage girl. My sister, Valentina, deserves an apology," Luca said angrily.
Leonardo raised an eyebrow. "Harm your sister? We haven't done anything to Valentina."
Luca's expression hardened. "Don't play dumb, Leonardo. You know what your siblings did," he said, pulling out a gun and pointing it at Leonardo, prompting Angelo and his men to draw theirs.
"Care to explain to your brothers?" Luca asked, glancing at Angelina, Zuko, and Adrian.
"Fratello, what is he talking about?" Angelo asked Adrian, still pointing his gun.
"I don't know," Adrian replied.
"Angelo, Zuko?" Leonardo asked, confused.
"We have no idea," Zuko said, with Angelina nodding.
Dante, growing impatient, grabbed Zuko by his shirt. "You better start talking, or things will get ugly," he threatened.
"Let go of my brother, or you won't make it back to your family," Leonardo warned, still facing Dante.
"I suggest you leave before I lose my patience," Angelo said coldly.
"You'll pay for what you did to my sister. If any harm comes to her again, there will be consequences," Luca warned, lowering his gun and signaling to leave.
The Lorenzis watched as the Cassanders left. "Will someone explain what that was about?" Leonardo asked Zuko and Adrian.
"We have no idea," Zuko replied.
Leonardo sighed. "Alright, go freshen up," he said, sitting back down.
"You think they did it?" Leonardo asked Angelo.
"If they did, they'll tell us," Angelo replied.
"I knew this would happen," Zuko said to Adrian and Angelina.
"Calm down, Zuko. We taught that Cassander a lesson," Angelina said, sitting on her bean bag chair.
"Do you think Angelo and Leo know?" Angelina asked.
"No, I don't think so," Zuko replied.
"They do, but they're waiting for us to tell them," Adrian said, grabbing a water bottle.
"That's impossible," Zuko exclaimed.
"They're our brothers; they know us well. Trust me, they know," Adrian replied.
"Should we come clean?" Angelina asked.
Adrian sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I think we should."
