Soon after Luca replied he suggested that they'd meet up at a remote location. Luca thought to himself that it wasn't a great idea to meet their family's enemies but they also had another threat targeting each families which left him with no choice.

"Alright guys, the Cassanders have responded and asked to meet up at a remote area," Leonardo said, addressing Angelo and the others gathered around him.
Angelo furrowed his brow, clearly uneasy about the arrangement. "Do we have any intel on this location? And how do we know they won't ambush us?"
Leonardo shook his head. "Do we have any idea what the location would be... no, do we know that the Cassanders might ambush us... no, but we don't have a choice. All we can do is make a backup plan if things go sideways. Okay?"
Angelo sighed, rubbing his temples as he processed the information. "Alright, but we need to be smart about this. We should send a scout ahead to survey the area and set up some form of communication in case things go south."
Leonardo nodded in agreement. "Good idea. We'll send Matteo and Rico to scout the location. They'll go in under the guise of hikers or something, and they'll report back to us. We need to make sure we have a clear escape route and a way to signal for backup if necessary."
Angelo looked around at the others in the room. "I also want everyone to be armed and ready for anything. We can't afford to be caught off guard."
The group murmured in agreement, the tension palpable in the room.
Leonardo continued, "We'll also need to establish a rendezvous point in case we get separated. Let's use the old warehouse on the outskirts of town. It's abandoned and should be safe enough for a regroup."
Angelo finally nodded, though his unease was still evident. "Alright, let's get to business."
Leonardo then called Luca discussing where they would meet up at.
Leonardo picked up his phone and dialed Luca's number. The room fell silent as everyone awaited the next steps.
After a few rings, Luca answered, "Leonardo, have you decided on the location?"
"Yes, Luca," Leonardo replied. "We'll meet at the old quarry, just outside the city limits. It's remote enough to avoid unwanted attention but still accessible."
Luca hesitated for a moment before responding, "Fair enough. We'll be there. But remember, Leonardo, this meeting is to address the bigger threat facing both our families and the D'Cruz. Let's not turn it into a bloodbath."
Leonardo nodded, though Luca couldn't see it. "Agreed. But know this, Luca, we'll be prepared for anything. I expect the same from you."
After ending the call, Leonardo turned to the group. "The old quarry it is. Matteo, Rico, you know what to do. Head out now and scout the area. Report back as soon as you can."
Matteo and Rico nodded, grabbing their gear and heading out the door. The rest of the group began preparing their weapons and gear, the atmosphere thick with anticipation.
As they prepared, Angelo approached Leonardo. "Do you really think we can trust them, Leo?"
Leonardo sighed, looking his best friend in the eyes. "I don't know, Angelo. But we have to try. If this external threat is as serious as we think, we can't afford to be divided. Just stay sharp and be ready for anything."
Angelo nodded, still uneasy but resolute. "Let's hope this works out."
Hours passed, and finally, Matteo and Rico returned with their report. "The quarry is clear," Matteo said. "We checked for any signs of an ambush, and it looks clean. There are multiple escape routes, and we set up a few hidden communication devices in case we need to call for backup."
