Lawsuit 2

Freen's pov

After Becky left the meeting room. Everyone was silent. And I saw pa in deep thoughts.

"I want an explanation now" he shouted and everyone flinched. It didn't surprise me.

But Becky's cold treatment did. She was like an ice queen. I've heard rumours that she's a cold boss. But I never thought it was real.

The only time i saw her face softened was when we both locked our eyes but that was also for a few seconds cause she diverted her eyes and focused on Mr. Kim.

"The meeting is over, you all can go out. Mr Lee and Freen stay" pa said and everyone started to take their things.

"And Mr Kim I want an explanation within an hour" pa said and he nodded.

After everyone left. The meeting room was silent again. I took the papers Becky's legal team gave and read them.

"It's a lawsuit against our company for breeching the contract" pa said and i nodded.

"What do you think Mr Lee" pa asked

"I'm not sure why they are saying that we broke the contract, but we didn't do anything sir" Mr Lee said

"What's with the lawsuit about Mr Kim" i asked him

"There's no explanation about that miss but, Mr Kim have been working with us for so long. So I  don't think he will do anything harm to us" mr Lee said and pa went to deep thoughts again.

"But Rebecca doesn't accuse someone if she doesn't have any proof" pa said and Mr Lee nodded

"Let's talk to Mr Kim first " i siad and they nodded

"But first we have to finish some paper work which is waiting for you in your office and in the meantime I could investigate this properly" pa said and i nodded

"Fine, but let me come with you when you go and meet the Armstrong's " i said and he beamed a smile. I know he's gonna tease

"Oh, you miss your wife huh" he did it. I knew it. I saw this coming. But i blushed before acting irritated.

"I don't have a wife" i protested

"But you have a kid with her" he said and i rolled my eyes

"Why don't you give her a chance" he asked.

"I'm gonna go" I said and stood up.

"You can't always escape kid" he said and i just shook my head.

I got out of the meeting room and went back to my office. And as he said there were too many paper works waiting for me.

I saw so engrossed in the paper works that I didn't even noticed the time.

I heard my door opening and saw pa entering with food. I smiled while looking at him

"Let's eat before we leave" he said that's when I checked the time. It's nearly 3 pm and i don't wanna be late. So we ate our lunch while discussing the matter.

Pa said that Mr Kim's record is very clean and he is very much loyal to us. And Mr Kim said he didn't do anything at all.

After the discussion and the late lunch, we both went to Armstrong's company with mr Lee , mr Kim and our legal team.

Armstrong's company was bigger than ours. It was modern and nice. We were escorted to the meeting room where their legal team was waiting I was a little disappointed when I didn't saw Becky.

I heard the door opening, I got excited that Becky will be here but to my surprise it was Nop. And i frowned.

"Don't show that disappointing look on your face kid, If you want I can call her" pa asked and i rolled my eyes. He laughed and i scoffed.

"Sorry for making your wait mr. Chankimha" my face light up when I heard her voice. I turned around to see Becky with another girl. Who is clinging towards Bec.
