Chapter Three: Friendship is magic

(Y/n) felt her body being lifted carelessly. She didn't want to wake up in the case of the people carrying her being too dangerous to fight. Her sleep had caused her to lose control of the ocean water leading her to an island she didn't know of.

"You better get that chart back!" A voice ordered, "Don't screw up again, or else..."

"YES, CAPTAIN BUGGY!"

'Oh hell no.'

"I know you're awake, girl." Buggy said as he leaned forward only centimeters from her face. His nose a hair's breadth away from her.

"No, I'm not."

Some of the powdered make up on him started irritating her nose. A sneeze was fast approaching.
"You do realize you just blew your cover, right?" He asked, question her action.
"I know." (Y/n) opened her eyes.

The clown froze once he properly scanned her features. They were oddly familiar, and he felt an unknown pang in his chest.
The sound of running caught his attention, his eyes pulling themselves away from the young woman's face.

"Sorry sir, we couldn't catch her." He finally stopped looking at her and turned to his men. His eyes widened at the information he was told.

"ARE YOU TELLING ME THE THIEF GOT AWAY!"

"Please forgive us Captain Buggy." The men were crying at this point. To stand before your boss and say you failed was a great shame for them. (Y/n) looked at them from the side. It looked like everyone was distracted.

" THE THREE OF YOU ARE PATHETIC! DIE FLASHILY!"

'What's the difference between normally dying and that?' The girl wondered. She tried to untie the ropes around her wrists. Her eyes were still on the arguing pirates.

"Captain Buggy, I have news." A man declared.

"What?"

"The girl returned the map."

'What map?'

From the talk around her, (Y/n) could understand that the map was of the Grandline. An orange-haired girl appeared walking along with a tied up Luffy...

Her eyes looked at him from head to toe, something began clicking into place.

'Luffy!!!!! What the hell was he doing here.' (Y/n)'s eyes were wide open like saucers. This could not be happening. How many times could one bump into the same person. Fate was really pulling some strings.

'Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me.'

"You!" He said with recognition in his voice. His eyes squinted as though he was thinking really hard.

'He recognized me.'

" You're that lady from the navy base!"

"If you're gonna expose me don't expose me like that!"(Y/n) yelled. Every pirate near pointed the sharp ends of their swords at her. One guy even pointed a canon.

"Listen guys. I can explain, " The woman had an apologetic look on her face," It's not what it sounds like, okay?"

Buggy's eyes widened as he he fully took in her features, all of them resembling a woman he once knew. A woman he thought had died. Atleast he thought she was, she resembled her back when they were younger, when he was still friends with Shanks and when they all sailed together on the Oro Jackson.

"Doesn't matter what it sounds like, you stole MY map!" Buggy yelled, snapping his finger to order his men to fire. Another girl with orange hair stood beside him, her smirk fading as she looked at Luffy.

"That doesn't mean you should kill us!" Y/n yelled, trying her best to find any nearby water sources.

Buggy merely tilted his head and scoffed," Little girl, I'm a pirate."

"Fair point."

The Buggy ball was fired, but it didn't get to hit Y/n and Luffy thankfully.

Y/n caught sight of the green haired guy and she gasped,"You're supposed to be dead?!"

Zoro looked at her in shock before he stepped infront of the cage to defend his captain and the mysterious lady," Think of me as a ghost then."

Finally able to find water from a nearby well, she attracted towards her hands and created a sword,"Sure."

Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Y/n had finally beaten Buggy's crew, watching as they  quickly sailed away to try and rescue their captain.

Y/n had forced Zoro to sit down so she could quickly patch up his wound, using the little med kit she carried along with her.

"Woman that hurts!" He winced at the feel of the rubbing alcohol on his back.

"For someone who fights with three swords and is known to be a dangerous 'pirate hunter', you sure do whine alot." She lightened her touch to not hurt him further, pulling out some gauze.

Zoro's cheeks seemed to become a light pink, barely noticeable.

"What's your name,lady?" Luffy said,watching her very closely. And by closely I mean he barely gave her personal space.

Nami shoved him away from her," Can't you see she's busy?!"

Y/n smiled,"The name's Y/n Blackvale."

Luffy smiled, it was wide and bright. Y/n likened it to the sun's rays after a storm for some reason."Cool name." She nodded.

"Thank you, Y/n."Y/n finished bandaging Zoro, handing him his t-shirt. His grey eyes met with her e/c ones, trying to read her.

"Well, I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm gonna be the King of the Pirates!" He introduced himself.

Nami pulled Y/n's attention to her,"I'm Nami. I'm this three person crew's new navigator."

"Make that four." Luffy said, "You're so coool. JOIN MY CREW!"

The proposal was so sudden to the girl, eyes widening in surprise. She never really liked pirates much, but something about the boy infront of her pulled her in.

"No."

"COME ONNNNN!"

"NO."

Luffy was on his knees, hands in hers and looking at her with pleasing eyes.

"Pretty pleeeaaasssee."

The voice inside her head seemed to contribute, making her let out a huff.

"Fine."
