Yumeko pov:

I ran, the bundle in my hands starting to move.

'Please don't cry. Don't cry, don't cry,don't cry don't cry.'

I hummed out a lullaby, the baby's eyes closing at the soft notes as I tried to get away.

"MISTRESS YU! DON'T DO THIS!" I could hear Miss Jeong call to me , trying to catch up to my speedy pace.

Before I knew it my body had stilled.

"What's all this Gliona?" A sharp voice had demanded, heels clicking against the facility halls.

"I was just...taking the baby for a walk."

"For a walk?" Mother gave me a look. There would be repercussions for this.

"Hand over my granddaughter."

"Mother please, when will this end?!"

"It will end when I want it to." She carefully took the bundle from my arms, red eyes glaring at me.

"Miss Jeong." She turned to the older woman behind me,her hair was a haunting grey,

"Yes Madam?" She stood to attention.

"You know what to do." Mother nodded as she opened up the bundle to reveal a h/c tuft of hair.

"NO, PLEASE!" I tried to run but the feel of chains wrapping around my wrists on their own accord pulled me on the floor, screaming for help that would never arrive.

"MISS JEONG!" the older woman ignored my pleas as she dragged me over the cold tiled floor

"You brought this on yourself Mi'lady." Miss Jeong began," You've been like this since you were a child."

"Follow in your brother's footsteps."

"The same ones that got him here?!" I tried to break free once more,"THE SAME REASON HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN ARE!"

"Aunt Yumeko?"

"Yeah."

We sat in the middle of the glowing flower field, each petal glowing everywhere they were touched. Why you may wonder?

"I still can't sleep."

I let out a soft sigh. The stars shine high above, lighting up the night. Atleast the village lights weren't taking away from all this beauty.

I turned to my niece, her fingers tapping the petals around her as her she lay on her side.

She looked so much like her.

Those eyes. The hair. Almost everything.

The little one's eyes went to mine,"What does the G in your name mean?"

I smile, as many times as I tell her she still forgets a few days later.

"Gliona."

She stared like she was trying to figure out sometimes. "Why?'

"What?"

"Why did your mom name you Gliona?"

"My great uncle named me."
