george's pov:

after when felt like years of hell, nothing can describe the feeling of finally bringing my baby into the world. i fall into dreams chest, taking deep shaky breaths and gently sobbing as he reaches into the water and pulls out our baby,

she's all pink and slimy and with the last of my remaining strength i take her in my arms and wipe any blood from her face, my head is spinning as i try to ignore the amount pain i'm in, all i care about is her,

suddenly the sound of a high pitched new born cries fill the room, i hold her closer and rock her back and forth to try and soothe her, she's probably so confused as to why she's been pushed out of her home and into this cold confusing world.

once she's finished crying and my head stops spinning i get to take a proper look at her, she's so unbelievably beautiful, and my heart skips a beat to see she has dark brown hair similar to mine, i feel dream rest his chin on my shoulder to admire our creation too,

i want to stay like that forever, but after a few minutes dream has to cut the umbilical chord and hands her back to my wrapped in a soft fluffy towel,

dream wraps his arms around me and holds us as i deliver the placenta then helps me out of the pool, dries me off them gets me into comfortable clothes and finally into bed with my baby.

"what time is it?" i ask, we're now both laying in bed, the baby's warm body presses against mine as we cuddle under the covers, dream laying beside us simply admiring his daughter,

"about two," he whispers gently not taking his eyes from the baby on my chest, "i texted the midwife she's gonna come sort out everything with the birth certificate tomorrow," he tells me, i nod along but i really don't car about anything outside of this room right now,

"what do you think of ellie for a name?" i suggest, running my hand all over her baby soft skin,

"i love it," he smiles, i sit up so i can re-wrap ellie in her blanket but the moment i take her from my chest she starts to cry, it might just be because i'm not high on adrenaline but this time her cries are ten times louder,

i quickly wrap her up but not quick enough as i hear ivys tired confused voice over the baby monitor, we both sigh and dream is about to stand up when we both hear nicks voice,

we both listen intently as he explains that we're both probably really tired right now and promises to wake her up in the morning to so they can see the baby,

i expect to hear crying or her arguing but all she says is "otay nap-nap," before her tucks her back into bed,

we then listen as his soft footsteps walk to our door followed by a soft knock, "come him," dream says softly,

"do you need anything?" he whispers, his eyes falling on the baby in my arms,

"no i think we're good," dream whispers, not moving his eyes from ellie,

"okay, call me if you want anything," he smiles gently shutting the door and walking away,

"i'm gonna clean up," dream whispers, "should we move her crib in here now or are you gonna cuddle with her?" he asks like a dog willing to follow any of my commands,

"i'm gonna cuddle with her," i say, sinking even further into our cosy bed feeling so grateful i'm not spending our first night with her in an uncomfortable hospital bed,
