Dreams pov:

my head aches, so does my leg, my mind is fuzzy and i'm completely disoriented, it feels as if there's a stampede of elephants using my head as a treadmill, I can't remember anything but running into a tackle and a sense of panic and fear as my vision faded to black, i can feel soft silk sheets on my skin a a smaller hand on mine,

when i work up the energy to open my eyes i can see a hospital room, i turn my stiff neck to see my beautiful brunette boyfriend sat beside me with his knees curled to his chest and his head in a book of classic literature,

"George?" i smile squeezing his hand as he almost jumps out of his skin, he drops his book on the ground and leaps ontop of me,

"you're awake, oh my god you're finally awake," he cries, his entire body weight is on me making it a little hard to breathe but that's the least of my concerns right now,

"was i really asleep that long?" i laugh, running my hand over his back,

"it's been two weeks," he tells me, i feel my face go pale,

"what?" i ask, assuming this is some twisted joke,

"do you remember what happened?" george asks, sitting up so our eyes meet,

"i think i hit my head playing football," i say, i try to think of the last time my eyes were open but i can't,

"your helmet came off in a tackle," george tells me, "you've been in a coma for the last two weeks," I can't tell if its tears on joy or sad less in his eyes but I can feel similar ones prick mine,

"i didn't know," i whisper, hot tears stream down my face,

"i need to call your mom she's looking after ivy," george says pulling out him phone and calling her, still sitting above my and straddling my knees,

i can here the joy in her voice after george tells, he then calls a nurse and she runs a few tests on me to which she seems happy with the results,

then george tells me exact what's been happening and updates me on all the news from the two weeks, all while sitting in my lap adorably with his arms around my waist and his head on my chest,

a position he only moves from when he hears a knock at the door, he runs outside and comes back in holding ivy, she looks tired and i realise i don't actually know what time of day it is,

"papa papa papa," she sleepily giggles clapping her hands, she's holding some random peice of plastic in one that i can't quite make out,

"you wanna give papa the present from me?" george says,

"papa," she babbles again,

"okay sweetie," he says placing her on my lap, i sit up even further to take the white peice of plastic from her hand and realise it's a pregnancy test, a positive pregnancy test, I think my heart stops for a second,

"da-da," she says, her chubby little face looks so proud, I absolutely melt,

"george," i say looking up at him through tears,

"i was gonna tell you at the game," he says sitting down beside me and fulling ivy into his lap,

"oh baby i'm so happy," i cry, i glance over to see my mom standing in the doorway with tears in her eyes,

"you're gonna be a big sister ivy," george says picking her up and sitting beside me in the bed,

"papa," she smiles,

finally I get catch up with my mom I find comfort in the fact she stayed with ivy and George for two weeks on such short notice, I'm glad she's there in anything every happens to me since George mom isn't, I help her book her flight home for tomorrow since i'm awake now, then she takes ivy home and i'm left alone with george,
