5-14: Interu vs Ariel

Julius: (I was watching everything, on a cliff from far away, through a telescope, to be introduced to war as the pontiff said.

First, people tearing into each other, the screams of pain and rage heard from all the way here.

I understood the concept of war, armies fighting for control of areas for whatever reason.

But this? I am not prepared for this.

So...violent...

Why can't people resolve their issues more peacefully?

Then, something came from the other side, it landed on the frontlines of ours and a giant black explosion occurred.

Everything caught in it, just gone.

And soon enough, the soldiers of our side started running away, and theirs chasing.

I...I don't know how to feel about all this.

In fact, it all feels unreal.

This is just a dream right?

This isn't actually happening right?

Please?...

It's real, isn't it?

But then, what am I supposed to do here?

And reality won't wait for me to catch up.

Just then, something else came crashing through their ranks from the forest behind.

And now the battlefield is in complete chaos as something is tearing across it.

I don't know why, but I felt like I needed to get in there.

So I left the cliff and made my way there.

In hindsight, I don't know what I was thinking, maybe nothing at all actually.)

On the battlefield...

Interu: (Another punch, and I was sent flying.

Despite having [Pain] and [Suffering Nullification], it still took me a moment to reorient myself.)

Majikku 1: Interu!

Interu: Yeah yeah, I hear you.

Majikku 1: Fast Travel is nearly ready just hold on for-

Interu: (Then suddenly, it felt like something washed over me, damaging the Fast Travel Rune and counteracting any attempts to repair it.

Must be the Demon Lord's [Divine Field].)

Ariel: "Oh I am sorry, did I just ruin your grand escape plan, little spider?"

Interu: (She said with a sinister grin on her face, still speaking in a cutesy voice.

So unnerving, uncanny, and why Japanese?

No, that can wait.

Right now she's gloating, I have some time to think a bit.

Compared to last time, I was not instantly killed.

One, I have gotten stronger, two, she is holding back to play with me, the implications of which are not comforting at all.

Still, I took a lot of damage, the only reason I am still alive is thanks to the full restore from levelling up, from the Exp of the soldiers I have been crashing into.
