And Vampy clearly knows I am the Divine Beast and is already mad at me for all this, so I doubt I am getting away with this.

No? Of course I can't just run away from my problems.

Then suddenly, Alfred and Vampy were both startled by something and looked at the Demon Lord.

She just appraised them didn't she?

Fuck, they caught her attention and now she probably knows they are Vampires too cause Alfred doesn't have [Concealment] and Vampy's is nowhere near high enough LV to work to hide the important bits.

I am not that worried about dying to DL since I can just escape via [Kin Control] to one of the bodies my [Multi-Minds] are using, but the same can't be said for the Vampire duo.

Fighting here would be a disaster, so I was aiming to be knocked away by DL as she was doing at the battlefield, ultimately leading her away.

My main concern would be her threads, so I decided to spend all my Skill Points to buy [Fire Attack] and [Fire Enhancement] as well as invest into upgrading [Flame Resistance] and [Flame Magic].

I was fully prepared to set myself on fire to burn her webbing away, even to use the Spells inside my month to shoot out more flame.

Only to be then caught off guard by the offer of a truce, so much for all that effort.

I agree to it of course, I would rather not fight in the first place, even though I was the one who started it and got what I deserve with all this trouble I was put through.

But that doesn't erase all the trouble I have brought to others.

I should have tried to get DL to leave the area with me asap, then circle back to grab the Vampires once I parted ways with DL, but I was worried about the fire so I stayed to put it out.

The time we spent here probably gave DL the chance to inspect and detect them in the mansion.

And Alfred coming out of hiding and even speaking to me did not help.

Damn it, why do you have to be so brave?

Do you really trust me enough to just expose yourself and Vampy to another stranger with me here?

I get that DL looks like a teen, but think about why someone like that would be here in the first place!

Hell, do you really trust me that much to seek help from me so soon?!

While I am thankful that DL defeated Potimas, at least I think that's his name from what I overheard from their exchange, and called a ceasefire with me, for now at least, her being here only complicates things further.

I mean, she is the actual Origin Taratect the people here thought they were worshipping when they actually just mistook me for her.

I also don't like how the exchange they had implies that Potimas was using a fake body or something, so he isn't defeated for real.
