4-E: Landfall (Wyrm 14)

Wyrm 14:

After another long swimming session, I finally saw the shoreline.

And this place is rather unique, to say the least, with the sand being light blue of all colours it could have been.

Blue Coast according to [Appraisal], dumb name.

As I approach however, I can sense some nearby fish Monsters chasing me.

Thankfully, I easily outswam them with my maxed out [High-speed Swimming].

Still, there are some pink crab Monsters on the shore, why pink?

Whatever, I am running low on SP so I don't really have any other options than to make landfall here.

Thus I did, preparing to run inland to escape the crabs.

Thankfully, the crabs seem uninterested in me, just minding their own business, eating the pink coconuts from the palm trees, which have pink trunks and pink leaves.

Lucky break, again.

But wow, the more I look at it, the weirder this place's colour scheme is.

Like, this feels like something a child would draw, thinking the unusual colours are cool somehow.

Anyway, whew, now that's over with, I took out some more food to eat and rest up.

I should call Skanda-sama to let him know I am fine.

<Hello?>

Skanda-sama: <Huh-oh, hi Fei, I guess you're calling to let me know you have reached the other side?>

<Exactly, how about you? How is the situation over there?>

Skanda-sama: <Well, I am going to have to grind to get strong enough to take on Mother, but before that, I decided to listen to you and take some time off to just relax first to recharge myself.>

<Oh good, glad to know you are actually taking care of yourself now.>

Skanda-sama: <Yeah...So, I meant to call earlier, but I was worried I would distract you in the middle of something or...something, so I waited for you to call instead.

Anyway, I learnt some very important information from Dick-I mean D.>

<Pfff, Dick? That's perfect!>

Skanda-sama: <Ha, I know right? Anyway...>

He then recounted his conversation with Dick.

<Really? My whole class is here?>

Skanda-sama: <Yep, anyone you need to find right away?>

<Of course! My two besties! I am glad they are here too but are they okay?>

Skanda-sama: <No idea, but considering Dick said everyone except you are humanoids, I take it they are under the care of a community at the very least, not like us Monsters who have been thrown into the wild.>

<Oh, that's somewhat reassuring...But did Dick mention why I am the only Monster of the class?>

Skanda-sama: <Oh, well, it's punishment for bullying someone, like you have mentioned. But Dick said her name is Hiiro Wakaba and she sounds like an egotistical bitch with that kind of name, probably deserved it anyway, so don't feel too bad about it.>

<Well, uh...>

Yeah, I do still kind of see her that way.

But it was mostly my fault for getting upset over something so insignificant as getting rejected.
