Interu: (Fuck fuck fuck!
The enemy is attacking from the north!
And they set the town on fire!
Like, what the fuck?!
It doesn't even make sense!
You would be destroying what you are trying to conquer in the process!
Even if you hate the people here that much, you would still be destroying the supplies you could pick up here!
Unless they can put out the fires or have enough supply to not care.
Which would mean they are even more prepared for this war than I thought.
Nai wa, this world is rotten.
And what should I do?
Put out the fire I guess but they can just set things on fire again.
I need to stop the invading army, but do I kill them?
They are soldiers, not bandits, the situation is more grey than black.
I mean, sure, I already committed to killing a while ago, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't back off if possible.
Restrain them all with threads?
I could do that but then we will have to deal with an army's worth of P.O.Ws.
I don't think we have the resources for that here, and the townsfolk would probably want them dead anyway.
So I would have to drag them back to where they came from then?
Actually, why didn't I do that to begin with, before the war started?
Um...then I would have to commit to being a deterrent for war between the countries for who knows how long.
...Stop, don't think about what could have been right now!
What about Vampy?
Her family stayed because of some bs about not fleeing to reassure people that the country is confident about repelling the invasion or something along those lines.
I check with [Panoptic Vision] and see that cloaked figures are attacking the mansion.
And Alfred, who is seriously wounded with arrows sticking out of his body, is standing between one of them and Vampy laying on the ground.
And one cloaked figure is about to fire off a really strong Spell at them.
Not on my watch!
First I cast teleport, right in front of the cloaked bastard.
Then I cast fist!
I gave the guy a mean sucker punch to the face and sent him flying into the wall.
Ha, that felt good, even though I held back a lot so I don't destroy everything here.
I am tempted to buy [Fire Attack] so I can pull off an actual Falcon Punch next time.
Since y'know, I can't cast Spells immediately after a teleport to create the effect.
But it's so expensive, do I really want to buy it?
Hm, I should probably focus on the situation first, shouldn't I?
Good thing I have two brains so while one is being a useless dork, the other is healing Alfred, who is holding Vampy protectively in his arms.
That's the reason I teleported here instead of using [Jinx Evil Eye], as I can't heal from that far away without a clear line of sight to shoot a Healing Bolt.
