"Do you want to sleep with me?" I asked the girl I was with, whom I didn't even know.
"Sure bakit hindi" I was surprised by her quick agreement. Why did she immediately agree like that? What if I were someone else and truly had ill intentions toward her, right?
I only said that because my ex, who cheated on me, is here with her new boyfriend. They even chose to meet here, close to where my condo is. We rode the elevator, and when it opened, she just followed me.
"Ang daming nangyari, bumili lang naman ako ng bandage tas ganto na" she said. The woman approached me and looked at the wound on my hand. It was bleeding profusely. She quickly replaced the old bandage with a new one because it was soaked in blood. As she cleaned the wound, I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. I must be numb.
I just watched her as she washed my hand, holding it gently. It was the first time I could clearly see her face. She had light curly hair, fair skin, long eyelashes, and a pointed nose. She also had a mole on the side of her reddened lips. She was beautiful.
"Tara bumaba na tayo, nakaganti kana man na sa ex mo" she said to me. It turned out that the thought we both had was correct—she joined me because she wanted to help me. I couldn't help but laugh at what she said.
"Sure?...Bakit hindi?" I told her as I approached. She looked stunned as she waited for her response.
As I approached her, I felt an urge to kiss her while I gazed at her lips, which were enticing. "May I?" I asked her for permission. I was taken aback when she nodded in response and immediately responded to my kisses. Her legs wrapped around my waist as I lifted her towards the bed, gently laying her down. I undid the buttons of my polo shirt, and she watched me intently. Damn, that deep gaze of hers only urged me further to continue.
I woke up to the sunlight streaming in. I looked to the side of my bed, but the woman I was with was no longer there. I chuckled softly to myself because she had left me. I quickly got up and put on my clothes. I didn't even ask for her name, but I won't forget her face. When I went down to the lobby, I asked if the woman I was with had already left, and they said she had left a while ago and seemed to be in a hurry.
She had the keycard with her. Remembrance?
I passed by the place where I first met that girl, but I haven't seen her since. I don't even know her name, so it's hard for me to find her. I want to apologize to her for what happened. We both wanted it, but it feels like I have a responsibility to ask for her forgiveness.
In just four months of studying, I passed the exam to become a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT). Tomorrow marks my first day of work, teaching at the state university. Many opportunities were available to me, but I chose this one because my sibling studies here.
"I'm your new professor in algorithm. My name is Danel Kai Anderson and you can call me sir Kai" I told my students, It's a good thing I'll be teaching fourth-year students. They're more mature and less of a headache. They can also choose me as one of their thesis advisers.
