     B U

I could get him bussed up!!

     Music or hooper?

     Shoot him.

     Shoot him.

     Shoot him.

     He's clear through my pupils.

I could cover his body in purple!

     I mean red.

     We stopped at red.

The love is strong, so I hesitated instead.

"Why are you driving off?" The empty street echoes Theo's words into my cluttered mind.

"..." Why is she silent? Amara doesn't look at Theo, she looks at me. "Uuggh!!" Frustration tenses her face, it looks like she's lost faith, so Amara wipes that off then buries her head in her lap.

"Yo! Where are you taking my artist?" The way he asked again makes it easier to believe the things Amara said.

Amara slowly raises her head to face Theo. "Why are even here? Serenity took you home like 30 minutes ago." She sounds annoyed! Drained? Amara is used to dealing with Theo, but the way she talks is familiar.

"I just wanted to get food, but then I saw y'all at the light, so I got curious. I wasn't aware you were doing anything other than going home. As your manager I want to know what you are doing." As serious as he sounds, Theo is smiling.

     Insincere grins.

Don't let me begin!! To begin explaining who that toxic look and tone reminds me of.

Green means go, but this conversation isn't stopping.

She said she got this, but I want to let my gun blow.

     UGH!! I NEED TO CHILL!!

I'm too ready to shoot, I got to let Amara talk! If I talk then this'll escalate. My hand leaves my hoodie pocket and I relieve my fingers on the steering wheel. Just keep my hands on the wheel and stay focused.

     It'll be calm.

"Stop acting like a bitch! I gave you three beats to work on, and you're only done with one. I need consistency from you! Not clubbing or going out with boys." The shock on my face traveled throughout my body. "Our connections won't want to promote a hoe!"

So was right. Above all else, Theo is nothing but a disrespectful ass nigga.

     Amara bows her head.

Theo stepped over boundaries she couldn't see; he was positioned like an eyebrow.

Filipino and Latino. A bar of diversity is closed off in his mind.

His words are magnetizing. Afflicting calm developments and dragging hearts to sin.

     He is absurd.

I can't just sit here and forget what I heard. "Aye why're you calling her a bitch! You the weird ass nigga, that keeps on following us!"

"I don't know why you're talking to me. You don't have any talent or future to be talking to me the way you are. There's a reason I've barely acknowledged you! Stay your bitch ass in that beat up car and drop out your college; BECAUSE THEY DON'T NEED YOU ON THAT TEAM!! Stop fucking talking to me!"

     How does he know?

"Yeahh, I know about you! My dawg told me how you snuck his ass at practice earlier." So, Jamar knows Theo. I only let you rap because you Zee's cousin. I only let in because you're Amara's friend. Now I don't care about none of that. Talk to me like that again and I'll get you dealt with." He waved a shadow in the night, imitating the motion of wagging his finger in someone's face. The shadow hits hard. It's in my pocket, but he has one already out.

Theo then throws his gun on his passenger chair and starts to call Amara's name.

"..." He's not going to shoot me. I don't know much about him, but he knows me.

This isn't a situation that I should react to.

     Not yet.

He's the one who started the threats.

     Amara raises her head.

Furious, composed, and unarmed, Amara gets out of the car to lean on Theo's window. "Von I don't know what you or Isaac have going on, but you need to stop it! If you do anything to Isaac, then you're fired." She takes her hands off his car. Glaring deep into his soul, Theo's body reacted humbly.

     His words were silenced.

Theo looks at me and Amara intensely. "You not going to fire me!" He portrays arrogance from the appearance of his teeth.

     "Oh, my fucking god!!"

     BAM!!

Amara starts stomping on Theo's car.

     BOOM! BOOM!

Dents begin to form, and Theo's eyes widen.

We're both too stunned to react.

     Intense!

     He's not playing defense.

He's just watching her in awe.

"Yo! YOOO!!" Theo begins to open his door to react but is stopped once a car comes behind him. We've been at this light for the past five minutes, It'd be best if we leave now.

     I'll remember what Theo said.

     Now's not the time.

     "Amara let's go!" She's relentless!

     HONK!!

After the car honked, Theo's head twitched from shock. That honk was like an alarm for Theo.

Theo slowly shakes his head and bites his nails. He looks manic, I'd understand if this were a nervous reaction. However, Raven exposed the truth to this feeling.

That's a man stopping himself from killing someone.

     SsssSSSSKKKRRRRRRTTT!!

"Dammn!! Amara you good?" She opens the door, stares at me. Her eyes resembled mental exhaustion, aggravation, and downheartedness.

She sits quietly, I turn up the music, heading towards Jace's house.

There was a time when the tethered strings were too thin to bring connection.

Out of town from her dirty lies.

     Karma's strong, you shouldn't hide.

Just the way I build slowly.

I see a string thicker than most. A connection felt from a match in pain.

Amara looked so different; she showed me company.

     Which emotion is this?
