"Oh my god! Sometimes I just can't stand her!" Spoke an annoyed Charlie over our little video chat session. It's been three weeks since my best birthday ever. Here I sit in my bunk, in Idaho, almost alone in the bus. Kenny and Brendon had gone out for a few drinks, Dallon doesn't drink. He sat in the lounge eating hell knows what. I just sit in the privacy bunk, talking to Charlie.

"Why don't you just dump her ass already?" I say, sighing and leaning back against my pillow. He's quite mad at his girlfriend at the moment. I think that bleach blond Barbie doll is cheating on him. He apparently saw her at the mall with another guy which just makes my though more believable.

"Because I love her Syd." He said, running his hand through his brown slightly curly hair. "And she loves me too." He said sitting down in his desk chair. I snort out in laughter. He looks at me confused. "What?" He questions.

"Dude, your blind! She is cheating on you! Just face the fact and break up with her" He groans. "The proof is out! Number one, she's ignoring you. Number two, she took you out of her bio on Instagram. And three, you saw her with another guy! Come on man, open your goddamn eyes!" He shakes his head.

"Just give her some time Syd. If things keep getting weird, I'll break it off. Maybe that guy was like her cousin or something" I shake my head. "Blaaaa I don't knowwww" I giggle at him. He smiles at me, I think up my response.

"Just know, I'm always right." I say, he sighs. I look over at the clock, it read 7:00. We have a show in an hour, I just feel like laying around. "Ahhhh," I said annoyed. "I have a show in about an hour. Dallon and I have to go to our dressing room." I groan. He laughs.

"Is that a bad thing?" He questions, running his spare hand through his hair. I jump down from my bunk.

"No, I just don't feel like performing." I say slightly lazily. He looks at me funny. "What?"

"You should enjoy performing in front of those people. Syd, you have a you own little fanbase! I would do anything to be in your place." He sat back in his chair. "Touring the country, seeing so many new places, being in a band, and performing in front of thousands of fans. Syd, your living most people's dreams." I sigh and press the button that opens the door going to the sitting area. "I wish I could play as good as you. My guitar skills aren't the best." He said sadly. My face lights up.

"Do you play guitar?" I say, with wide eyes. He looks down, smiling a little.

"It's kinda a guilty pleasure of mine." He says, messing with his hair. "I'm not the best but I can play." I giggle a little. You learn something new about this boy everyday I swear.

"That's awesome. What type of-" I was cut off my Dallon. Who was waiting for me in the sitting area.

"Syd, we have to go. Kenny and your dad are waiting there. Plus we don't have a lot of time for the sound check." He walked over to me and handed my my bag that contained a couple changes of clothes to choose from and my makeup. He looked down at his phone. "Oh hi..." He looks at me confused for a minute.

"Charlie." I say, reminding him. Dallon smiles at him.

"Hi Charlie." He looked back at me. "Sorry but we have to go like right now." He said opening to door, letting in a warm summer breeze.

I look back at Charlie. "Sorry, I gotta go. I'll talk to you later." He smiles. I smile back.

"It's fine, have fun, don't miss me too much." He said smirking slightly. I don't know why but I slightly blushed. We say bye and I slip my phone in my back pocket. Dallon is still holding the door for me. I walk out it with him. He looks at me as we start our walk.

"Your so slow, that took forever." He said quite loudly. I sigh.

"Well your a tall waterglass" I say, elbowing him in the side. He speeds his walk, I speed up also.

"Your slow and you know it." He said flipping his hair sassily

"Boy, don't test me." I said, being the sassy little bean that I am.

"Hey look, a helicopter." He said, pointing past the tall buildings. I look where he was pointing. "Bye bye." He whispered in my ear before setting off towards the venue. I start to run after him.

"Hey! Stop, slow down!" I yell, he just laughs. I speed up, trying to get to him. He had already ran inside the venue.

•LITTLE LESS THEN AN HOUR LATER•

Being the lazy teenager that I am, I waited last minute to get changed and to do my make up. Now we only have 10 minutes until we are on stage performing and I digging through my bag, trying to find the perfect outfit. I eventually pull out a black and white striped shirt, a black jean sleeveless jacket, black skinny jeans, and black converse. I'm all black and white, my jet black hair helps with the outfit. I shouted out "changing!" and the guys turned away. After quickly slipping into my new clothes. I walked over the the make up counter and pull out my makeup. I put on my usual black mascara and eyeliner. I always look pretty badass when we perform. I smirk at myself in the wall mirror. The door opened slightly and someone called in.

"3 minutes guys." Someone called out. I continue to look at myself in the mirror. I straighten my shirt and grab my earpiece. I stick it in my ear and look into my eyes. I look different, I've... changed. I'm not the same girl I was months ago, before he adopted me. I'm no longer scared, no longer alone. Im no longer afraid to show the world who I really am. I feel myself slip into deep thought. I barely feel someone grab my arm and gently pull me with them. I barely feel someone put my guitar around me. I barely feel myself walk onstage. I snap out of my little trance and grab one of my picks off my mic stand. As I look at tonight's crowd, a thought banners through my head. A though that shakes me a little bit excites me all at the same time. My life is never going to be normal. I think I'm ok with that.
