The picture shows what Charlie looks like.
Once we got to the dressing room, we all hugged and laughed. After we all pulled away, we walked to the couches and started talking about the show. We did great, one of the best shows yet. They all celebrated is beer and I had apple cider because I'm only 15. Well, I'll me 16 in two weeks. We all laughed and talked. Suddenly, Zack came into the dressing room dragging a guy with him. Charlie. "Kid, do you know this guy? He wants to talk to you." I set down my drink and stand up.
"Yep I know him." I say slightly annoyed. He may be faking the whole nice thing. "Could you guys give us a minute." The guys nod and I push out the room with Charlie followed. I close the door behind us. "Can I help you?" I say slightly inpatient.
"Sydney...I um...I just want to say that I'm sorry for all I've done to you." He says trying to look me in the eyes. "I was trying to fit in-" I cut him off.
"By what? Verbally attacking an innocent and slightly broken person?" I say crossing my arms across my chest. "Yeah, that's totally fitting in." I say looking at him annoyed. Is mouth was trying to gather words but he didn't know what to say. All that came out was "I...ah." Then I notice, maybe I went to far. He turned around and started to walk. "Wait." I say taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry, that sounded really mean. I over react a lot. It's just I'm tired and my throat and feet hurt a lot and to be honest I just want to go back to the bus and sleep." I rambled. We both giggled a little.
"It's fine, I should be the one apologizing. I never really got to know you so I just did what everyone else did." He said looking down at his dirty converse. I smile
"It's fine, what's in the past is in the past." I said pausing a moment before talking again. "Maybe your not such a bad guy, I with I got to know you better." I say looking at him.
"You still can. We can go for a walk and talk about it." He says. I giggle a little. I then walk over to the dressing room and open the door.
"Guys, I'll be back soon. I'll see you guys on the bus." I say closing to door but Brendon stops it.
"Wait. Where are you going and who is he." He said concerned. I sigh.
"This is Charlie, my friend and we are going for a walk." Brendon suddenly flicked hide yes to Charlie.
"If you hurt her in anyway, you will not live to see another day. Understand me young man?" Brendon says seriously. Charlie nods frantically. "That's a good boy." Brendon said cracking a smile. "You kids run along now, no frickle frackle."
"Dad!" I say loudly. He giggles and closes the door. "Sorry about that, he's always try's to embarrass me." I say, we both laugh and start walking.
After some small talk, somehow we made our way to the top of the building. We sat up against an electrical box and stared out into the city, the city I partly miss. "I have an idea." He said turning his head to look at me. "Why don't we start over." I tilt my head alittle before staring back out into the city nightlife.
"How do?" I ask. He shifts his body so he was facing me. I do the same.
"Hi, I'm Charlie. I have no talent at all. I'm an idiot who tries to fit in and I messed up. Nice to meet you." I giggle.
"Hi I'm Sydney. I'm very talented. My parents died when I was 3 and I was in foster care for 12 years. My adopted dad is Brendon Urie and I recently joined panic at the disco. Nice to meet you too." I say, we shake hands. And giggle. After we settled down he spoke up.
"Wait, what... what happen to your parents if you don't mind me asking." He says.
"They um...well...there was a car crash and I was the only one who made it out alive." I said as the memory flashes back into my mind. I take a deep breath and cover up the memory.
"I'm so sorry Sydney. I never knew." He says.
"Yeah." I said looking over at the space needle. He was about to say something back, the door that led to the roof opened. We both turned our heads to find Dallon standing in to door way.
"Hey kids. Syd, we need to go. The bus is about to leave." I curse under my breath. "Language young lady." I push my self off the ground.
"Gimme your phone for a minute." I say to Charlie. I reached into his pocket and pulls out his phone. I type into my number and add myself. "Let's stay in contact." I say smiling. He smiles back, Dallon drags me away.
