A/N Sorry if there are any spelling or grammar errors, it's two in the morning and I'm sleepy.

We all walked into the music room. Karen was trying to contain her excitement which is actually pretty funny to watch. Once we are all in, Brendon gets out his phone.

"Are you only doing this because it's one of your favorite songs?" I ask, Karen at my side. He looks up from his phone and smirks.

"My dear, not many people can pull this song off. If you can, this would win you the talent show." The looks down at if phone, clearly typing. "And yes, that is partly the reason." He said, Karen giggles.

"What are you typing?" I ask. He looks at me.

"I'm finding lyrics." He handed me his phone. "I'll go search an instrumental." He said getting up and sitting at the desk. "I'm the only one aloud to use this computer right now." He said, unlocking it. "It has secret album secrets on it." He said, spinning in the chair. He went to YouTube and searched for an instrumental. After finally finding one, he spun around to face us. "Ok kiddo let's try this out." Karen went and sat on the couch against the wall. "Ready, 1 2 3-" he clicks the start. I take a deep breath and start to sing.

"Is this the real life, or is this just fantasy. Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality." I sang, looking down at the lyrics. Both of their mouths drop open. "Open your eyes, look up to the sky and sing. I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy." I sang, my voice ringing. Brendon let's out an oh!

"There it is! There it is baby." He said in his higher voice. I giggle as I sing.

"Mama, just killed a man. Put a gun against his head. Pulled my trigger now he's dead." I look at Karen who is sitting there in awe. As I continued the song, I took note on what notes I needed to work on. Brendon was right, not a lot of people could pull of this song. I think I might be able to. I have a voice that is very fluid, it's like warm butter. But I can also make it raspy if I need to. I can hit high notes and low notes and my voice fits most songs. I just hope I could pull this one off. Now we are at the part of the song that Brendon loves a little too much. As the piano played the same note over and over, I took a breath in and waited for the guitar solo to end.

"So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye!" I said, using my all. "So you think you can love me and leave me to die, ohhhhh baby! Can't do this to me baby, just gotta get out just gotta get right out of here." I sang then regaining my breath. Now I'm absolutely sure this might work. My voice is pretty powerful and I was really pulling off this song. Now I'm no Freddie Mercury but I definitely have some pipes of my own. As the song ended, I read off the lyrics to them. "Nothing really matters." I paused. "To me." I let the last note ring just like how Brendon does it when he covers it live. After it ended Karen and Brendon started freaking out.

"Oh my god! We could win this!" She said jumping up and hugging me. I giggle and hug her back. Then she pulls away. "Wait, what about a drummer and a guitarist." Brendon makes a face.

"I thought you were going to play guitar." He said to her. She shakes her head.

"It would take me more then two days to learn that solo. I could play bass though." She said. He smiles again.

"Perfect. I may have a person who could play drums." Both Karen and I give him a confused look. "Not a lot of people know exactly who Dan is." He said, referring to the new panic drummer. "I may be able to give him a call." He said grabbing his phone from me.

"Right now?" I ask confused. Brendon nods.

"Karen, you might want to call your parents. Your staying here tonight." He said, dialing Dans number. Karen smiled and nods. We all walk down the stairs and into the kitchen.

•FIVE MINUTES LATER•

"They said yes!" Karen said excitedly, taking a seat on the bar stool next to me. Brendon let's out an exciting noise.

"Yeah! So where's Dan?" I question. He looks down at his phone.

"He should be here any minute. Any way so if dans up for it, you still wouldn't have a guitarist." He said, looking at us from across the counter. "Finding a guitarist you would be willing to learn the song is going to be hard. Do you know anyone?" Karen and I looked at each other. We don't. "Listen, I'll fill in while we're practicing." He said. All of the sudden, there's a knock at the door. "Come in!" Brendon says, walking to the doorway, we do the same. In walked Dan.

"What's so important that couldn't wait until tomorrow's meeting." He sighed. Brendon looks at us.

"Sydney needs a drummer for her school talent show this Friday afternoon." He said. Dan looks at me and smiles.

"What are you doing?" He asks, shutting the door.

"Bohemian Rhapsody." I say, casually leaning against the wall. His eyes get big.

"Is everyone in this house talented what the hell!" He said, he walks past us and to the kitchen, we all follow. He opens the fridge and grabs a soda. After cracking it open and taking a sip, he speaks. "Ok, I'll play." He then starts to head up stairs, we all follow. He stopped halfway up and looked at Karan. "Who's she?" He asked.

"Oh this is Karen, she's gonna play bass." I said, looking at Karen. He smiles slightly.

"Hello Karen." He said before reaching the top and opening to music room door. "Let's get working." He said picking up a pair of drumsticks and sitting down on the drum stool. I set the piano up on the stand while Brendon was explaining the knobs on the bass to Karen. After that, he picked up his favorite guitar.

"Let's do this." He said, adjusting my mic.
