Link's P.O.V
Valerie told me to meet them at a funeral home. Which was weird. When I walked in, a young, brown haired girl, was standing in the front. She began to sing, it was kinda shaky, but still really good. I sat next to Valerie.

"That's Lucy." She whispered as she pointed to the girl in the front. A boy walked up beside Lucy, and began singing too. Lucy and the boy were clapping, which made everyone in the room clap. Then everyone stood up.

I stood up and clapped along. Then another boy came walked up to Lucy and starting singing. They sounded amazing. By the time the were finished, everyone around us (including me) was crying. I didn't even know who they were singing about! I was impressed, and kind of proud.

Once they where finished, they took a bow and sat down. Now, I feel bad for not being apart of Lucy's life. I could have taught her so many things! She could have even been in some of mine and Rhett's videos!

+++++
After the funeral I approached Lucy and the 2 boys she had sang with. They looked at me as if I were crazy. Well I kinda was, I just randomly showed up at someone's funeral.

"Lucy?" I said. The boys slowly walked away. Lucy turned to me.

"Can I help you?" She smiled at me. Lucy had light brown hair, and blue eyes. She kinda dressed like a school girl, with a skirt and a sweater.

"I'm Link, your father." I extended my hand, hoping she would shake it. Lucy looked at me, her smile, turned into a frown. I put my hand down. "L-Lucy, can I hug you?"

"H-Hello." Lucy said, it was obvious that she was trying not to cry. "Excuse me." She ran off, crying.

I tried to follow her, but a tall boy stopped me. "What do you think you're doing?" He said.

Another boy came out behind him, he was smaller and paler than the other boy. "Stay away from Lucy. Oh, and another thing, why are you here? You didn't even know my grandpa!"

"I'm Lucy's father." I said. They looked at each other. Then looked at me.

The tall one pointed to a red car. "She's over there." He said. Both of the boys ran off. I walked to the red car, I saw Lucy behind it, she was crying.

"Lucy?" I said. I sat down next to her.

"I apologize for running off. I just didn't think you'd come. My moms would tell me that you were coming, and you never did." She sobbed. I hugged her.

"Lucy, I'm here now." I said. I looked into her eyes. She wrapped her arms around me, and cried some more.

"I've always wanted to meet you." She said. She squeezed me tighter. "But you never wanted to meet me!"

Tears came running down my face. I regret not meeting her sooner. "I did want to meet you Lucy. I just couldn't."

Lucy let go of my waist, and looked at me. "Why couldn't you?" She sniffed.

"If I had met you, I wouldn't have a wife or 3 kids." I said. Lucy stood up and ran away. I tried to stop her, but it was too late. I stood up.

Valerie walked over to me, and offered to drive me back to their place. I accepted, and walked with Valerie to her car. "She just doesn't know how to react, Link. Don't worry, I'll have her friends talk to her."

Valerie and Alison sat up front, and I sat in the back, by myself. Apparently Lucy had left with someone named 'David'

The car ride home was silent. Alison tried to make small talk, but it always ended with Lucy.

+++++++
Lucy didn't come home that night. I'm guessing she spent the night with that David kid. I wonder why her moms are letting her spend the night with a boy...

I would never let Lily stay at a boys house, over night...

Valerie and Alison went to the grocery store and left me home by myself. While they were gone, I looked at all of the pictures they had of Lucy. She was adorable, she kinda looked like me. Lucy also looked at bit like Valerie.

I walked around the house until I found Lucy's room. It was pink, and her bed was white with light pink sheets. Her walls were covered with posters, of Broadway musicals. On her desk, she had a picture of her and some guy who I assumed was David. She looked about 12-13, and so did David. It was at a birthday party. I smiled at the picture.

I sat in her chair, and a huge white cat jumped on me. "Well hi." I said as I rubbed the cats back. The cat jumped down, and ran off. Her desk had 3 drawers. I opened the first one, it was just some make up and some books.

I opened the second one. My mouth dropped. It was filled with Father's Day cards that she had made. I picked one up, it looked like it was made at school. The front of the card said:

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

There's was a stick figure on the front, with a sad face. I opened the card, on the inside it had the same stick figure, but on the right side of the page. It had an arrow pointing to it which said "me" and on the other side, it had another stick figure, but instead the arrow said, you.

And the stick figure was happy. I didn't want to start crying, but I did. The card had a short message which said:

Dear Daddy,
I don't know you, but someday i would like to. Every year I ask my moms if I can meet you and they always tell me that you're busy. So I was wondering, if you'd like to not be busy for my birthday. I really want to meet you. My birthday is on July 10th. I would love to meet you.
Love, Lucy Bleu

I wiped my tears as I put the card back, and left Lucy's room. I made my way to the guest room. I laid on the bed and cried. I'm definitely the worst father in the history of fathers...

I laid in bed all day and hoped that Lucy would come home so I could talk to her. Valerie wanted me to go pick her up. I refused because she wouldn't have come home with me.

Valerie walked into the guest room and told me to come downstairs. I jumped up and ran down the steps. I was expecting to see Lucy, but instead I saw the tall boy, who was at the funeral. He was sitting on the couch.

"Hello." The tall boy extended his hand. I sat down on the love seat across from him.

I shook his hand. "Hi, I'm Link." I was confused. Who was this boy? Was this David? Wait, is this boy Lucy?

"I'm Seth." He said. Alison sat down next to me, and Valerie sat next to Seth. "I was wondering if I could take Lucy out on a date? Would you guys be okay with that?" He said.

Okay so now I'm really confused. Why did Valerie and Alison need me? I don't even know this kid! Valerie and Alison both said yes. They were waiting on my answer.

"Uh." I said. "I guess you can." Seth jumped up and hugged me. He was shouting 'thank you!'

"Oh my! I have and idea!" Valerie said. Seth let go of me and turned to her. "Link can drive you guys around! That way Lucy and Link can bond!"

I shook me head. "No. I'm sorry but no." I didn't want to ruin Lucy's date. I would probably say something stupid and embarrassing.

"I'm fine with that." Seth said. "I have to leave. And I'll try to convince Lucy to come home."

+++++++
The next morning, I woke up next to the white cat. I picked it up, and carried it downstairs with me. Alison and Valerie were sitting at the table.

"Is Mr. Snugglepuff bothering you Link?" Valerie said as she took the white monster from my hands.

"He's fine. That cat is an amazing cuddler." I said. I sat down at the table. "So have you heard anything from Lucy?"

"She should be coming home today at noon." Alison said as she shoved a spoon full of Frosted Flakes in her mouth.

I looked at my phone, it's 9:03. She'll be here in about 3 hours. I stood up and went to the guest room and changed, then came back downstairs and waited in the living room for Lucy. I really want to make things right with her.
