Chapter 6

Link's P.O.V
Lucy and I were sitting on the couch watching TV when Seth arrived. Lucy ran to the bathroom right before he walked in.

"Hello, Mr. Neal." Seth said as he shook my hand.

"Hello, and call my Link." I said. Valerie and Alison had left. They went on their own little date. We waited for Lucy to come out of the bathroom, but she didn't. I went to go check on her.

I knocked on the bathroom door. I could hear her vomiting threw the door. I opened the door, and Lucy was laying on the ground, with her face halfway in the toilet. I rushed to her, after I closed the door.

"Link, I can't do this." She said as she lifted her head up. She had been crying, and her makeup was streaming down her face.

"Lucy, yes you can." I said as I handed her a towel. "Look, I haven't known you for that long, but from what I've seen from you so far, you seem like a cool girl." I put my arm on her shoulder, trying to comfort her.

She wiped her face and looked at me. "You think I'm cool?" She said. I nodded. Lucy wiped the tears from her eyes. "I've never been called cool before. I've only be called 'loser' or 'stupid'."

She hugged me. She was squeezing me, I honestly thought my eyes were going to pop out of socket. Lucy let go of me and stood up. "I'm sorry, we can leave now." She left.

I wondered why she said sorry? She didn't need to apologize. Lucy didn't do anything wrong. I followed her.

"Ready to go?" Seth asked. I grabbed Valerie's car keys and walked out the door. Seth and Lucy sat in the back of the car. I was in the front driving (obviously).

The car ride to the movie theater was silent. I tired talking, but I just ended up embarrassing myself. When we arrived at the theater, none of us knew what we wanted to see.

We sat in the car and looked at the movie posters outside the theater. "Let's see," I said. "We can go see 'Vacation', Jurassic World," I looked back at Lucy and Seth. They did nothing. I started naming off movies, then I remembered that some YouTube friends of mine had made a movie, and I kinda wanted to see it. "We could see Smosh the movie." I said.

Lucy's eyes widened. She must've liked Smosh. "Do you want to go see it?" I asked Lucy. She shook her head. We finally decided to watch Jurassic World.

I sat 3 rows behind Seth and Lucy. I enjoyed watching the movie for the 2nd time. I still screamed at certain parts and I probably embarrassed Lucy...

After the movie, I went to the bathroom and left Lucy and Seth alone. When I came back, Lucy and Seth were over at a claw machine. Seth picked up a pink bear with the claw and gave it to Lucy. She smiled and hugged him.

I washed my hands and walked over to them. "Hey guys!" I said. Lucy stood next to me and held the bear that Seth had won her.

"Let's leave, please." She said as she turned and walked out the door. Seth and I followed her.

"That movie was awesome!" Seth said as we got in the car. I agreed and so did Lucy. Lucy sat in the passenger seat and Seth sat in the back. I asked her if she wanted to sit in the back and she said no.

"Do you guys want to go eat?" I asked them. Lucy shook her head and asked to go home.

I drove Seth home first. "Thank you for the ride Link." He said. Seth turned to Lucy and smiled. "I'll call you."

Lucy shook her head and rolled up the window. I chuckled a little. "What was that for?" I said as we pulled out of Seth's driveway.

"What was what for?" She asked.
