Chapter THREE-Meeting the Krew

A.N:In this chapter nothing exciting really happens.
The first five chapters will be pretty slow before the plot kicks in eventually.

KORRA and Suyana had spent a few days on the roads to get to Republic City.
Toph told Suyana that she would have to train Korra but it felt more like she had to babysit her. They rarely spent time on isolated places to earthbend. Korra wasn't interested in that in the least which made Suyana question why she came to Toph in the first place. Korra was fun to be around but Suyana didn't leave the Swamp just for to keep her company.

Korra just got them their third hotel room since they started travelling.
Only the big cities of the Earth Kingdom had advanced technology and infrastructures. Since they had to go through villages and little cities to find national roads,their journey was longer.

Korra got her bending back, sure, and didn't forget all the training she got all her life.All of that wasn't enough to make her keep her initial mastering of three bending styles,but it was enough to make her conjure flames,make water in a bowl move and be able to push a rock aside. All of those with her newfound airbending were able to prove to villagers that she was the Avatar. This resulted in her getting a queen's treatment by the townspeople.

"Ah"Korra jumped on her bed and sighed blissfully."This shower was so good."

Suyana raised her eyes from the newspaper she was holding. "Did you buy the train tickets for tomorrow?"Korra,startled,sat up on the bed with her eyes widening in horror.

Every day,there was a train passing through the village coming from Gaoling to Republic city.It only passed once a day.

"I am so sorry."Korra rubbed on her face then looked at Suyana who had a little smile on her face.She stood up from the armchair she was sitting on and handed the two tickets she was hiding between the newspaper.

"Why would you do that?" Korra shouted as she snatched the tickets from Suyana's hands.
Suyana looked at her disapprovingly. "Now it's my fault that you almost got us stuck here?" She went before the nightside and took a brush to entangle her hair."Where were you?" She stared at her through the mirror.

"I went out."Korra looked at the ceiling."To get tickets,right?" Suyana cocked an eyebrow.

"Yes!!But the city is so interesting, I got distracted. "Korra let herself fall on the bed dramatically. "Let's go out tonight." She offered to Suyana,even if she already knew the answer.

"No,no,I'll stay here to warm the bed. But thanks for inviting me. "Suyana said as she kept trying over and over again to make her bun look good. Korra didn't know what arguments to give to convince her and spent 2 minutes trying to come up with a good one as Suyana kept cursing at her uncooperative hair.

"There'll be cute boys." She scratched her neck not knowing if that info will be a deal-breaker.
It wasn't but it definitively made Suyana stop moving and think about all the possibilities. But she shook her head knowing that fooling around while they are leaving tomorrow is a bad idea.

Korra ended up going out alone and didn't come back too late. While she was away, Suyana ate dinner offered by the landlady and left some for Korra. Korra found her asleep and tucked in her bedroom sheets. On Korra's bed,Suyana left a letter threatening to leave and sell Korra's ticket if she wasn't home early the next morning.
