Your mother then invites Theo to your father's upcoming birthday dinner and before you can object for Theo he's already agreed and checking his schedule. Your dad then invites Frank and his "mystery woman" trying to clear the silence and that only made the enraged eye contact between you and Frank worst.

It's been about a week since your date which ended in a hookup with Theo and since Frank has really talked to you, but that's expected right ? Your dad's dinner is in two days and Theo's extremely excited for it.

You've been rotting in your bed since that date and groan everytime you get a text that wasn't Frank. This time it's Theo just like all the other times.

"Theodore"

"Hey I was thinking we could maybe catch a cup of coffee tomorrow so you can tell me what to expect at your dad's dinner ?"

You want to claw your eyes out at the message which is obviously an excuse for another date, shouldn't you want this ? He's a great guy, he really is but you find yourself back to your silly school girl crush on Frank and it's hitting like a bag of bricks. You do reply and you say yes, about 20 minutes later Theo is at your front door and you two go to a small cafe. He's asking question about your major and your up coming birthday, he tells you he's a Taurus and your compatibility. You look at him with eyes glossed over while his shine like beacons. His boyish voice fills the silence you leave with your short answers.

Theo asks " what's the matter?" You chalked it up on jitters from the dinner and he states his excitement for what seems like the thousand time in the past ten minutes. Time flies by and before you know it he's paying for the tab and driving you home to get ready for the dinner, trading hellos to your parents and walking past Frank.

Why is he always over ?

You sit on the edge of your bed for a moment before your mother barges in ushering you to get ready. Theo comes back thought he's now in a light blue button up shirt, he looked great and you wanted to tell him that and as you were, Franks' faded ford pulled up in the driveway and he stepped out wearing a black button up and that damn cowboy hat. Your attention stolen and Theo standing there feeling the stillness in your stance.

Franks eyes meet yours, a thousand never spoken words are heard between the glance. When your parents see Frank and more importantly without a ditsy woman on his arm, they look a bit disappointed and don't bother trying to hide it your dad says something along the lines of  "where's your woman Frank ?"

His woman ?, the audacity of this man
" she was busy, I gave her too late of an invite" now it was your mom " now "why'd you go and do that Frankie" once the name slipped his eyes met yours once again. " I was busy missin' her to think about it" his glare pinned you . Theo grabbing your hand brought you back " we should probably head to the restaurant now"

Once you got there your parents sat across from each other on the longer side of the table. Theo had pulled a chair out for you but Frank sits in it and forces Theo to sit next to him, you resort to sitting across Theo rolling your eyes at franks maneuver .

Conversation quickly ensued Theo stuttering and nervous whenever Frank asked him something. Franks sight settled on you after ordering wine. You don't pay him any-mind not caring what he has to say or thought of saying.

As tensions between you and Frank grew thick, Theo was giddy talking and answering questions for your parents. Your mother nudging your foot under the table. When you look at her she gives you a look that says "merry this boy already" you immediately roll your eyes at this.

Dinner comes and with it your 7th glass of wince. " Hun you may want to slow it down ..." your dad suggests. You stare blankly at Frank, his mouth twitches a bit that sets you off. " Frank you think I should slow down ?" You slurred out a bit passive aggressive. His nose crinkles and his eyes squint a bit and he speaks softly " yeah I think you should hun"

Your dad seemed a bit confused why you'd ask Frank for a second opinion but just brushes it off on the drinks you've been chugging back. You get angry, angry he agrees, angry that he's seeing another woman, angry at his beautifully crooked nose, angry how his hair is perfectly placed even after taking that cowboy hat off, angry with how good he looks.

You feel flushed now and excuse yourself to the restroom and unbeknownst to you, Frank follows. The hall was dim and red carpet covered the floor, before you could enter the restroom you were being guided by a hand on your lower back to the end and the darkest part of the hall. Suddenly your cornered, tipsy, and more recently aroused by the man who pressed you farther into the corner. His eyes dilated and his hair out of place on his forehead " what are you playing at ?" He hissed, his hand sliding up your shoulder and to your face to cup it.
" I miss you sweetheart heart" his words were too sweet and you felt the word vomit creeping up in your throat
" I fucked Theo Frank" his face faltered hand still cupping you.

"do you love him?" was all he whispered

You lean into Frank's hand " no" you mutter. He lifts your head and his lips meet yours soft at first and quickly needy. Just as you reach your arm up to hold his neck he's already pulling away " go back to the table now hun, can't have everyone knowing just yet..." the end was just above a whisper but you pay it no mind.

The night passes in a blur, the drinks apparently catching up to you now. Theo takes you home, says his farewell and when he tries to kiss you good night you dodge him and give him a hun in return he looks confused and a bit sad but turns around is on his way.

You go to your bed room and pass out once you hit your bed.

Hey y'all, again I know this update is very much posted at 1 am very sorry bout that but I was busier today then expected and I didn't realize I didn't have this chaper completed. I also realized that for some reason this series says complete when it's not!! So do not fret there is still gonna be updates after this Sunday is just not too sure when because I do have school again since I'm currently on the last few days of my break.
