"Remember, we're madly in love, so it's all right to kiss me anytime you feel like it."

The two were on par with their ODM skills and both hated to admit it. Their pride was too big to acknowledge that someone could catch up to them. Levi most especially, he learned how to use the ODM gear by himself just like her, had his own technique just like her (then again he did get inspired by her during his childhood), had the fastest speed among his squad just like her, but what hurt the most was the fact that it took him years to get to the speed he has now, while she just caught up to him in a matter of minutes. It irked him to the point he found himself being reckless than he was before.

Swinging and swinging across trees and slashing every titan along his way, he used up a bit more gas than usual just to create some space between him and Adira. Sure he admired her when he was younger, but now this was different. This wasn't Allani Snow, this was Adira Afrodille. And if she changed her name it could only mean that she wanted to forget her past. So there was no more Allani Snow that he looked up to, there was only Adira Afrodille who he could now see from eye to eye.

If he could only watch Allani Snow from afar, now he can compete with Adira Afrodille up close. He didn't want to admit it, but the people watching them could tell that a form of rivalry would start to bloom between the Humanity's Strongest and the underground thug.

Landing just on the platform a second right before Adira did, his chest swelled with competitive pride. He beat her, even if it were just by one second. He focused on how her face would turn out after that but it only irked him after seeing that smile that didn't reach her eyes. By now it was obvious that neither of the two liked losing.

"Wohoo Adira! What a crazy training session don't ya think?" Hange broke the small tense atmosphere between the two. Breaking eye contact with Levi, she looked at Hange and smiled at her. "It really is. I cannot wait for when we start sparring." As she said those words, she side eyed Levi and he kept his eye contact with hers, his head tilted down while he tried his best to steady his breathing to not look tired. "I think you finally found some competition now shorty." Hange teased, elbowing the man with a teasing smirk on her lips.

Clicking his tongue, he frowned at her. "I have no competition. I don't see the point of competing against comrades, that's just child's play." Lie. If it were childs play then what he and Adira had would be an entire children's playground. It seemed as though Adira caught on with his lie and let out a snicker.

Training finally ended and they were ordered to freshen up, the squad parting ways with Levi and Adira, leaving the two alone to head to their rooms.

Levi kept his eyes forward as he continued walking. He could feel her observant eyes on him as they walked side by side, their footsteps echoing in the stoney corridor. Sunset started to paint the skies in its beautiful orange shade when Adira broke the silence. "You're quite short don't you think? Pretty handsome too, but I don't think people look past your height and that intimidating face of yours."
