Time passed and the three underground thugs were given access to escape the underground, under one condition, they kill Erwin Smith. It was a good agreement, they kill Erwin Smith and are granted the opportunity to finally live above ground, it felt too good to be true to even accept it. But should the assumptions of them being chased by their target be true, then they're taking the job.
"Isabel. Furlan." Levi called with his ODM gear on. "Do you think we'll be able to see Allani once we get out of here?" Isabel asked in wonder, following Levi as they exited their house.
"I highly doubt it, she probably lives in wall Sina. We can't afford to live there anyway." Furlan answered, earning a sad groan from Isabel. "Man, then that was probably the last time we'll ever see her. I hope she's doing well!" Their conversation is then cut off once they've heard the familiar zip of the ODM gear. "They're here. Let's get going."
Starting the chase and the job they have now accepted, they separate their ways once they've realized that it wasn't the Military police who's chasing them now. No, it was the survey corps.
The green hooded figure moved with ease as they dodged all the obstacles sent their way by the thugs. People watched it all happen and Levi, testing the skills of the survey corps, swiftly moved and passed through the windows of a random person's house, which however ended up with him getting cornered by the hooded soldiers.
Noticing the situation, he dropped his knife and didn't bother fighting back anymore. Because of this, the three ended up getting cuffed and were interrogated by a blonde man. However, despite the questions the blonde man asked, Levi wouldn't answer. Resulting in his head getting thrashed to a puddle of dirty water.
His nerves were getting out of control, he wanted to do anything just to get these cuffs out of his hands and leave this place, only if it weren't for the job they were offered. A job that he couldn't resist. After a bit, he finally spoke up and was given a deal by Erwin Smith. That is to join the Survey Corps and all their crimes would be forgiven, but if he were to decline, then they would be sent to jail. Levi's brows creased and finally, "I'll join the Survey Corps."

News spread fast to the entire regiment that they would be accepting three thugs from the underground and it enraged them all. They, who have always held formality in high regard, would simply accept a bunch of criminals? They couldn't do it, their morals would be tainted.
Upon arrival at the Survey Corps base, Levi and Furlan immediately felt all eyes on them. They were first tasked to introduce themselves to the soldiers and though begrudgingly, Levi spoke up first, then Isabel, and lastly Furlan.
