The next morning, the sound coming from a phone interrupted the peaceful sleep of Joohyun. She reaches for her phone on the bedside table with half-opened eyes, regretting not putting it on silent mode last night.
As she answered the call, she heard Yerim on the other line, "Mom! Are you free today?"
"What time is it?"
"It's already 8 in the morning. Are you still sleeping when I called?"
"Yah! Is it obvious? You disturbed my good sleep." Joohyun said, as she sat down and leaned back on the headboard while rubbing her eyes with her free hand.
"I think you are still dreaming about my dad."
"Huh? Dad?" What is she saying? I didn't even have someone right now. She mentally asked in confusion.
"Did you forget? Kang Seulgi is my dad." Joohyun was caught off guard by what her daughter said. She considers Seulgi as her dad?! But I like it anyway. Who am I to refuse?
"Hey, Mom, are you still there? I will stop teasing you now." Yerim said teasingly.
"I'm not available today. I want to stay at home."
"I guess we will just go there instead."
"What?!"
"Sooyoung unnie and I will go there today whether you like it or not."
"Yah! Kim Yerim! I --" She didn't get to finish what she wanted to say when the person on the other line immediately ended the call.
Joohyun sighed as she put down her phone and stared at nowhere. The memories of last night gradually flashed in her mind. The thought of her scent that feels calming and the way that person's eyes looked at her. She feels disappointed by not having the chance to see her covered face since she looks attractive just by seeing only her monolid eyes. You should stop thinking about that person named Rowoon! You are faithful to Yerim's dad... I mean Seulgi.
She disregards the thoughts lingering in her mind. She gets up from the bed and goes to the shelf that contains various merchandise including albums, posters, pictures, and a lightstick. She picked the framed photo of Seulgi that she personally captured during the fan meeting months ago, wondering how she could handle being cute, attractive, charismatic, and hot at the same time. She put back the framed photo on the shelf and decided to go down to prepare food since her friends would arrive later.
Seulgi woke up around 9 in the morning, wanting to stay in bed for the whole day. It's a good thing that she doesn't have any schedule since it's Saturday so she will use the time to get some rest at home. She went out of the room because of the sound that could be heard coming from the kitchen, seeing Seungwan cooking their breakfast.
"You are awake. Good Morning!" Seungwan greeted the sleepy bear.
"It is supposed to be your rest day since I don't have a schedule today."
"Shhh. I'm here to cook breakfast for you, bear."
"You are being extra sweet today huh?"
"Am I not sweet to my best friend every day?" Seulgi playfully rolled her eyes at her best friend.
"Fine. Just continue your cooking there." Seungwan laughed while Seulgi went to the living room and sat on the couch, waiting for Seungwan to finish her business in the kitchen.
On the other hand, a few hours had passed, and Joohyun was done cleaning her house and cooking for lunch when she heard loud voices coming from outside.
