After resting for days it became a huge help for Seulgi, her manager called to say that they needed to meet the new production assistant in their team. She will also visit and catch up with her friends since she hasn't seen them for a long time due to the packed schedule. Seungwan and Seulgi arrived at the company, seeing Ms. Tiffany inside the meeting room with Joohyun beside her.
"Hey, Good morning, Seulgi!" Ms. Tiffany greeted her.
"Good morning too, Ms. Tiffany. Good morning also, Joohyun." Seulgi greeted them back and smiled, noticing the hint of blush on Joohyun's cheek.
"Seungwan and Seulgi, I would like to introduce Ms. Bae Joohyun. She will be the new production assistant in your team. She will replace Ms. Jung who recently resigned." Ms. Tiffany said.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Bae. I'm Son Seungwan, Seulgi's manager. You can call me Seungwan." Seungwan said and offered a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too, Seungwan. Just call me Joohyun. I will work hard for your team." Joohyun accepted the handshake and smiled.
"So pretty." Seulgi unconsciously said as Seungwan held back her laugh.
Joohyun looked at her and asked, "Did you say something?"
Seulgi cleared her throat and changed her sitting position, "Oh, I said it's my pleasure to have you on my team. Let's work hard together." She smiled to hide her embarrassment.
The short meeting ended after discussing a few things regarding Joohyun's transfer and task to the ongoing world tour. Seungwan and Seulgi decided to grab some breakfast before heading back to the company later.
"Seulgi, what did you say earlier? You find Joohyun pretty?" Seungwan said in a teasing tone.
"Whatever, Son Seungwan."
"Yah! Don't be a denial bear. I can see the way you look at her throughout the meeting." Seulgi wondered if she was that obvious but she couldn't resist looking away with that goddess-like Bae Joohyun. What is she supposed to do?
"Aishhh, fine. She is pretty, that's it."
"Awww! Our Kang Seulgi is in love."
"I'm not. Now, let's grab breakfast. I need to do something after." Seulgi said, walking ahead of Seungwan who was still smiling teasingly.
"Wait for me!" Seungwan shouted but the bear pretended that she couldn't hear her.
Seulgi came back to the company to have dance rehearsals as her pastime. After spending hours in the dance practice room alone, she decided to visit her friends in the creative and editorial department since it was almost lunchtime.
"Yongsun! Byulyi!" The two immediately looked up when they saw who called them.
"Seulgi!" The two excitedly ran to Seulgi and hugged her.
"Are you that busy with your projects that's why you visited us after a long time?" Byulyi said.
"Yeah, it's really tiring but all worth it. I will make it up to all of you since I have a one-week break remaining."
"You should! We are always watching your performances just to ease our longing for you." Yongsun said while wiping her nonexistent tears.
"Are you free for lunch?" Seulgi asked because she was planning to have lunch with them.
"Yes, we are. Why?" Byulyi asked.
"Perfect! Let's have lunch together. My treat."
"Yehey!" The two happily said.
