In the span of one week after the Europe tour, the two became close to each other wherein Seulgi went to the company to have lunch with Joohyun even though she didn't have a schedule. It's evident that they are enjoying the presence of each other. Seulgi discovered a new side of Joohyun and that is when she looks pretty while laughing, one of the characteristics Seulgi wants in her ideal type. Some of their friends keep teasing them for being together but they will respond by saying that it's a friendly hangout.
The encore of her world tour took place in Seoul tonight. As expected, thousands of fans attended the sold-out concert once again. It ended after 3 hours of continuous performances, surprise guests, and talking with her fans.
"Goodbye, Seulmates! Thank you for your endless love and support. I will come back. I love you all. See you again!" Seulgi bowed before exiting the stage. When she reached backstage, her team greeted her with a warm group hug.
She pulled back from the hug, "Thank you, everyone. I appreciate all the hard work and effort you gave. This tour will be nothing if all of you are not with me. I'm thankful to have this team throughout the preparation and actual tour. Thank you for making this world tour possible and successful. Seulgi Team, let's work together again in the future!" Seulgi said, on the verge of crying.
"Awwww! Don't cry, bear. We are also thankful to have you. We are always proud of you. Congratulations!" Seungwan said and cupped Seulgi's cheeks to wipe her tears.
"Congratulations, Seulgi!" Her team said in unison.
"Seungwan and I reserved a restaurant for us to have a celebration later. It's my treat and I expect that everyone will attend. For now, let's pack up." Seulgi said happily and they quickly went back to what they were doing.
"Seulgi-yah!" She recognized the familiar voice easily and her face lit up when she saw who it was, seeing the person walk towards her and greet her with a warm embrace.
"You did great, Seulgi-yah. I'm so proud of you. Congratulations on your successful world tour." Joohyun said sincerely while hugging the stunned bear.
"Thank you, Joohyun-ah. You are part of this success." Seulgi caresses the back of her head. The exhaustion felt by Seulgi earlier miraculously disappeared when Joohyun hugged her. Her presence makes her feel that everything is fine. Why do I feel this way? This is probably the effect of Bae Joohyun.
The two pulled back from the hug and stared directly at each other's eyes. The sparks fly can be visibly seen whenever the doe eyes meet the monolid eyes. However, Seulgi noticed that Joohyun dropped her gaze to her lips which made her clear her throat and brought Joohyun to reality.
"Uhm... Our team is having a celebration later. I'm looking forward to seeing you there." Seulgi said to change the intense atmosphere around them.
"Sure. I will be there." Joohyun smiled sweetly which never fails to make her heart skip.
"I'll go now to change in the dressing room. See you later." The bear patted her head before walking away. Seulgi always has this urge to do that to her because she resembles a cute bunny.
The whole team was currently eating in a restaurant reserved by Seulgi and Seungwan. Seulgi also invited their friends to the company. She is sitting in front of Joohyun with Seungwan, Byulyi, and Lisa by her right side. While Joohyun was sitting beside Youngsun, Jennie, and Chaeyoung.
Seungwan stood up from her seat to get the attention of everyone, "Attention everyone! Since this is the celebration of the successful world tour of our Kang Seulgi. Let's have a toast. Seulgi team, the best!" She raised her glass containing a beer.
