Joohyun can't endure the painful scene that keeps replaying in her mind. All the jealousy that she suppressed throughout this project exploded right now. She is fully aware that it's just for the collaboration project but she can't stand the feeling of being stabbed repeatedly from what she is witnessing in front of her eyes. Not only that, but every break time, Sunmi was always next to Seulgi including clinging to her arms, leaning her head on her shoulder, and feeding her with food. Joohyun can't do anything because she doesn't have the right to be jealous and demand something from Seulgi. Who is she in the life of Seulgi? She is just a production assistant working in the same company as hers. She is aware of her actions towards the bunny but she should not assume in the first place because the bear was known for always being a nice person to everyone.
She didn't know what to do anymore when she saw how Sunmi leaned in, trying to kiss Seulgi even though it was not included in the script and the filming was over. The tug in her heart made it worse to finally leave the filming location, walking away until she reached an empty park with a bench where she could pour her emotions out. She breaks down, still thinking about everything that happened in the past few days, especially earlier. The rain falls all over the place just like the tears that keep flowing down her eyes. She didn't care about being soaked in the rain until she felt that someone was holding an umbrella above her. She remained not moving in her place as she looked up to see the person who was the reason for her tears.
"What are you doing here?" Joohyun sternly questioned.
"I was extremely worried about you when I saw you leave so I looked for you. I'm glad that I found you here." Seulgi worriedly said.
"I don't need you. Leave me alone." She looked away, occupying herself from looking around the park that was being soaked in the rain.
"Hyun, I didn't --" Seulgi tried to respond but Joohyun didn't let her finish.
"I don't want to hear your fucking apologies! Please...leave me alone." Her voice cracked from holding back her tears, showing the emotions Seulgi had never seen in Joohyun before.
"Hyun, even if you are mad and try to push me away, I will never leave you here. Please, just tell me everything you had in mind." Seulgi tried to calm the intense atmosphere around them.
"You want to know everything?" Joohyun stared directly at her pleading eyes as Seulgi immediately nodded.
"I guess this is the right time to tell you that I'm falling in love with you harder than I thought! Seulgi, I don't know what to do anymore. Honestly, it fucking hurts to see you with someone else. I tried to stop myself from being jealous... because I have no right to feel that way but I fucking could not." Joohyun confessed with a hint of crack in her voice as she kept on sobbing. However, Seulgi was processing everything that she heard, losing the grip on the umbrella she was holding, not caring if she was also getting soaked in the rain.
"Tell me Seulgi. What am I to you? Am I just a fool by believing those mixed signals? Am I just a stupid person who keeps on believing those actions? Am I just... nothing to you? I badly want to know, please. I'm not in the position to ask you this but... Do you like her?" Joohyun continued, restraining herself from crying again. While Seulgi felt hurt from seeing the woman she loved in this state.
"Hyun, look, it's not what you --"
"Then what Seulgi?"
"I'm in love with you!" Seulgi blurted out, enough for her to hear the confession. The two of them were engulfed in silence, staring directly into each other's eyes where tears started to build up.
"I love you for how much God knows. I'm just a coward by not confessing it but I think now is the chance to say everything that I truly feel for you. I started to have an unexplainable feeling that I never felt with anyone else before when I first laid my eyes on you that night after the concert." Seulgi started to shed tears from her sudden confession.
