Back in time again, twelve hours ago, as sunlight floods the room through the open window on the wall opposite the bed where Damon and Alice sleep in each other's arms.
The strange gray hue of the light filtering through the heavy, rain-filled clouds that drift ceaselessly across the sky makes Alice wince in Damon's arms.
But that's not all. A strange but at the same time unimaginably familiar tap on her shoulder abruptly snaps her out of the sweet slumber of sleep, while a sweet voice reaches her ear.
Sebb: Wake up, Mom! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!

Alice opens her eyes and sees a beautiful dark-haired boy, about five years old, with clear, mesmerizing blue eyes and two long fangs that stand out in his broad and unimaginably cute smile. Without recognizing the boy, she turns to look at Damon, who is still sleeping undisturbed.

Then she turns back to the boy.
Alice: Who are you? How did you get in here?
The boy laughs in a very familiar way and throws his head back.
Sebb: Really, Mom? Don't you recognize me?
Alice: I'm sorry, but no. Who are you?
Sebb: You're playing a trick on me now, but that's okay. I'll play along. I'm your son, Mom, and my name is Sebb.
Alice: Sebb?
Sebb: Yes, Sebb from Sebastian. You call me that so we don't get confused with Grandpa.
Alice: What are you talking about? Who are you? Who sent you?
The boy's expression changes, and the cute little boy becomes a scary little monster, kind of like Chucky, the famous killer doll.
