The Doctor hadn't spoken. He hadn't seen Nik since the church and knew why she wasn't there when he had sent Rose back to Earth, but to know his connection to her through her counterpart, it was still a shock even though there was that moment in the church it came to his mind, but then it had left his mind, but he couldn't stop thinking about her and the male Niklaus had confirmed his thoughts. He had opened up his mind hesitantly and his tense posture immediately relaxed when he felt a connection and saw Nik giving him a small smile from where she stood in the console room. Rose had been next to her explaining what happened to Mickey.

"Mickey's alternate self was really called Ricky?" Nik couldn't help but ask.

"You had the same name, but you were a male," Rose pointed out.

"Was I hot?" Nik asked.

"Even though you threatened to kill me since I didn't exist in that world, yes," Rose answered.

"Was I hot?" Nik asked the Doctor who gave a slight nod.

Rose's eyes widened seeing the nod. "Why are you surprised Rose? Time Lords can switch sex when they regenerate, it wouldn't be surprising if they didn't have a preference," Nik said with a shrug, "By now, I'm too old to care."

"How old are you?" the Doctor asked her, realizing he didn't know the other Nik's age either.

"Love, I'm in my thousands," Nik said with a small smirk when the Doctor blushed.

"Ooooh, he blushed like that with your other self too," Rose gossiped.

"Rose!" the Doctor exclaimed in a high pitch getting a chuckle out of Niklaus when his face grew a darker red.

"Well it's not every day you get to embarrass a nine hundred year old by talking to his thousand year old Bonded about how he's been practically obsessive since meeting her in a church in the past and then her male counterpart," Rose argued with a shrug.

It was agreed they would do something in the fifties. Nik had pulled rose to the closet that the TARDIS had moved closer to Rose's shock. "Why couldn't she do that for me?" Rose had asked.

Nik shrugged, "Maybe she likes me better," she said, hearing a confirmation hum making Rose look at the walls in offense, "To be fair, the time energy I received is from this TARDIS," Nik reasoned, "It just hasn't been given to me yet."

"What do you mean?" Rose asked.

"An older Doctor that doesn't look like he does now was the one who had arrived," Nik said pulling out a dress with a poofy skirt, "I know you don't care for dresses, but I'm sure you know by now..." Nik trailed off. Rose grabbed the poofy skirt with a sky. "Look at it this way, you never had to put on a corset. Those are worse than my reputation," she said getting a snort out of Rose.

They strolled back to the console room, "I thought we'd be going for the Vegas era, you know the white flares and the chest hair," Rose spoke, but saw the Doctor still a bit stunned at Nik.

"Love?" Nik spoke, but the Doctor still stared, "Sweetie?" and he snapped out of it.

"Right, right, you want to see Elvis don't you? Because that sounds like Elvis," the Doctor said to Rose. His hair had been done for the fifties and wasn't free flowing as it was stuck together with gel. "You want to go for the late fifties. The time before burgers. When they called him the Pelvis and still had a waist. What's more, you see him in style," the Doctor spoke, putting in the coordinates.
