dream show pt.1 [seungmin]

got inspired by the magic school concert that was going on a few days ago difjshljkfda, jealous :| (btw some of the things here actually happened during the concert so if you have been scrolling and looking at the concert contents posted by other stays, some of the things here might sound familiar lmao :D and some ofc are going to be made up)

"You're acing the controls Lexi! I think you'll be fine controlling the music on your own!"

You turned to the girl who's grinning at you. She joined about a month ago at the KSPO Dome in the tech team. She currently is under your wing as the assistant for the magic going on behind the scenes, such as lights, music, screen display etc.

"It's all thanks to you! I'm so excited for tonight, it'll be the first show I'll ever take full control of, with your help that is. You'll just sit back and relax." she replied, jumping around the tiny room that somewhat fit you and her. You smiled back at her as you peered over the glass window that separated you two and the audience. Oh how you also looked forward to tonight. You always have looked forward to Stray Kids' concerts. It always have been a blast and you would always find yourself giggling over the members' interaction. You really wished you could have a closer look at them though...

"Y/N!"

The door burst open and you found the manager panting as he stopped to catch his breath.

"What is it sir?" you replied, curious of his current state. You glanced at Lexi who also looked as confused as you are.

"The SKZOO, you know... the... costumed animals... for... Stray Kids..." the manager took a deep breath before continuing, "Seungmin's one... you know, the one who's..." he trailed off and seemed to be thinking of how to describe him.

"Yeah Seungmin I know." you came in, nodding at the manager.

The manager nodded back and continued, "His SKZOO person got injured last minute."

You raised an eyebrow, "What does that have to do with me?"

He looked up and took in another deep breath, "We couldn't find anyone else to replace him. So I suggested you, and they agreed!"

You froze. You? Cosplaying a SKZOO?! SEUNGMIN'S SKZOO? You looked back at the manager, making sure you weren't imagining it.

"I... didn't hear you wrong right? Me, as Seungmin's Skzoo? Like PuppyM?" you said, jaws still dropped open.

The manager nods. You stood there, processing what he said.

The manager finally managed to slow his panting down before continuing, "Lexi seems capable enough alone, so I thought you would have the chance to cosplay PuppyM. If you don't want to I could tell them..."

"NO- I mean... No need for that manager. I'll do it." you cut him off. How could you miss the chance of being up close to Stray Kids?

The manager smiles, "Great! Come with me and I'll bring you to the staff and they'll tell you what to do."

You nodded and followed him out the door, leaving poor Lexi pouting at you lucky chance. You heard her whisper "tell me everything when you come back". You stuck your tongue out before catching up with the manager.

After you got a rundown of everything, all you had to do left is to be on stage and interact with Seungmin and the members. Of course you were nervous. The stays in the audience weren't your biggest concern, it was just the members. How were you going to entertain and stand out from the rest of the SKZOOs, and also interact with THE Seungmin? You glanced up at the clock. You had a full hour before the show started. The best thing to do is learn as much of Seungmin as you could, this way you could mimic his personality and habits to fit the PuppyM role. So that's what you did. You searched for as much videos as you could and watched them at 1.5x speed.
