Your phone rang and you smiled when you saw who it was. The screen had 'chris' titled in it and you picked it up.
"Hey bro what's-"
"HOW COME YOU DIDN'T TELL ME THAT YOU'RE COMING TO WATCH MY CONCERT."
You chuckle, so he found out huh.
"I was hoping to surprise you, guess not."
"YEAH YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME!"
How you missed his voice. It still held some of that aussie accent, but most of it disappeared after he moved to Korea.
"Sorry mate."
You heard whispers on the other end of the phone.
"Anyways, what's up? I feel like you want to tell me something"
You heard more whispers before Chan came back.
"Since you're coming to the concert, what do you think of being my skzoo, you know, the mascots for StrayKids?"
"Wait you aren't joking...?"
"No"
"Oh hm..."
"No pressure or anything, if you don't want to, you can say it, just thought it would be fun."
You couldn't reject him, he's Chan after all.
"Alright bet."
"Great! I'll help you book your flight as a way of saying thanks. Is it alright if you come like 3 days earlier?"
"Hey it's fine I'll book my flight myself-"
"Nope I'll do it. Anyways I got to go byee~ I'll send you the information later tonight."
"Bye..."
He hung up and you were left staring at the screen. You couldn't imagine what it'll be like there. Will STAYs like you? Will you be able to portray Wolfchan well? You buried yourself in your black hoodie in frustration, having 'what if' thoughts crowd your brain.
As if Chan was right next to you, you heard your phone buzz, and you went to check. Chan sent you a message:
Hey Y/N don't stress it, you'll do great. I can feel you overthinking even from here. Can't wait to see you again :)
You smiled, Chan knew you too well.
Gripping onto your suitcase, your eyes scanned through what seems like thousands of people waiting, but soon enough you found him. He still wore the black hoodie you gave him as his recent birthday present. His face hidden in a mask, and he wore loose pants. He saw you too and waved. You ran over to him and embraced into a hug.
"It's been so long Chris!" you spoke, head buried into his chest. You felt his giggles and you melted.
"Yeah, let's go, I'll help you with your stuff. The members are dying to see you again." he pulled away from your embrace and took your suitcase and bag. You noticed his dark eye circles and you frowned.
"Somebody has been sleeping late." you said, giving him a look. He sighed and shook his head, clearly not wanting to argue with your lectures on sleep. He knew you were worried about his sleep schedules.
You and Chan caught up as he drove you to the dorm. You have met the members everytime you visited, and you understood immediately why Chan picked them as the members for StrayKids. You could see their passion and hardwork, it honestly motivated you too.
Chan unlocked the front door, and seven pairs of eyes turned to look at you. A moment of silence before chaos.
"Y/N!" "OMG THE Y/N!" "MOM!" "SHE'S BACK SHE'S BACK!" Most of the familiar boys came running to you, while others just laughed and watched the chaos unfold. You hugged those who came running to you, saying stuff like how you missed them and made small talks. Chan chuckled, leaning into the door frame. This was honestly his favourite part of you coming to visit, just seeing you get along well with the members brings a smile to his face.
After the long greetings and words of welcome, you and Chan got to discuss the upcoming show. He gave you a brief run through so you could know what to expect and allow you to plan ahead if you needed to. He answered all your questions and reassured your of all your doubts on fitting the role.
"Look, I asked you to be Wolfchan for a reason, I picked you as you fit it's character the best. Don't worry." He pats you back, giving you a reassuring smile. You nod quietly, hoping you would do well.
You panicked when you heard the staff announcing the entrance. You looked around as the other SKZOOs get ready. The girl being Bbokari glances at you and smiles.
"Hey don't be nervous, we can do it." She held your SKZOO hand and led you out to meet the members. You honestly didn't know how grateful you were of her. You two went out onto the stage and Bbokari releases your hand to meet Felix. You on the other hand froze and glanced around the stage. Thankfully, Chan ran to you and led you to where you were suppose to be.
"We can do this." He gives you a pat on the head and you two start walking around the stage, greeting fans along the way. Slowly but surely, you became more comfortable with being on stage. You enjoyes the company of the members and the SKZOOs as they all were quite unique in their own way. Yet somehow all of them seemingly fit their SKZOO personality as it perfectly matches.
You ended off the concert with the final goodbyes. You watched as Chan came dashing into your arms as the two of you hopped together.
"You did it Y/N! Thank you for today." You heard Chan's muffled voice as he wrapped his arms around your Wolfchan body. You could see from the Wolfchan eyes that he had on the cutest smile anyone could have. "One concert day down, two to go!"
a/n: thanks for reading heh, honestly recently i had inspiration but they weren't related to the skzoo series. i know this story wasn't something exciting but at least something to read when u need a break from fluff i suppose? one of those comfort stories? idk hope you did enjoy reading this
