I knock on the staff room door and slide it open.

"All Might?" I called.

I see him on the couch.

"Young Midoriya! Come, sit, we need to talk" He gestured to the couch opposite him.

I sat opposite, still intimidated but nowhere near as much as I was a few weeks ago.

Geeze so much has happened.

Story of my life I guess.

"I think we should address the elephant in the room. Your Quirk" He looked at me seriously. "How much do you know about it? It's limits, capabilities, is it safe?"

"I don't know much about it unfortunately. I have reason to believe that Eri had some kind of effect over whatever I've awakened. Though calling it a Quirk is a stretch"

"Oh? How so" He leaned forward, hands clasped.

"During the... Incident. Eri manifested a new ability, to slow down time. You know this already from reading the reports"

"Go on"

"Well I think One For All absorbed some of it while it was active, along with my own body and inactive Quirk Factor getting a large dose of the Chronon Energy-"

"Sorry, Chronon Energy? What's that?" All Might interrupted.

"Oh, that's what I call the energy of Time Itself, I produce it somehow, little shining particles of light formed from shattered glass that repairs only to shatter again. There's a glass ball where I used to feel One For All. It's somehow... Hidden in a cloud of this energy, I don't know what's going on but since I can still feel One For All I assume I can pass it on at some point. Anyways, my body and One For All were flooded by Eri's Chronon Energy, and by using One For All I managed to push through it. I think the emotional upheaval of the day, the unstable state of Chronon Energy and he fact I was exposed and flooded with it for so long, it kickstarted a forced Quirk Manifestation of some kind"

"Is that even possible? Surely there's be no Quirkless if such a thing was known"

"It is, it was something people used to suffer randomly during the beginning of Quirks. Probably why they began manifesting, energies flooding the planet's atmosphere kickstarting he next stage of evolution, specific ones that were around certain families based off their jobs would be easier to absorb and then cause a manifestation. Like blacksmithing, heat, fire, metal, creating, strength, all possible abstract energies their genetic code could've grown to accept. I think a mix of the Stockpiling aspect of One For All and how much I've been exposed to Eri's potent Quirk in a sort time did something similar" I look up at All Might to see him lost.

"Huh?"

I sigh. "Body is a glass, different family jobs make different glass types. Different glass types absorb different energies, absorb enough, manifest a related power"

His eyes cleared up. "Ah! Gotcha, so you think the Overhaul fight and two subsequent slowings of time somehow molded your glass? Wouldn't it be more suited for strength though?"

I smile, glad he's understanding it a bit better.

"I have a slight enhancement, but I've always been more suited for speed, remember Wolfram?" He nodded. "I caught up with you but I didn't have Melissa's Full Gauntlet on my legs. It was on my arm, which I matched your punch with"

"But you were as fast as me" He realised. "So your glass was suited for running?"

"Acceleration is something I can do with my Quirk" The novelty of saying that still hasn't worn off. "It's how I caught up to Bakugo, even if I keeled over in exhaustion right after. But no, Eri's horn is a potent well of Chronon energy, basically a block of it, like a block of marble of a lightning bolt is a physical chunk of electricity. She used a full horn during the Overhaul fight, and the two subsequent time dilations along with losing Mom probably forcefully shaped my glass for time and speed, with a strength side effect from One For All. And activated it"
