Make your parents proud, especially your mother.

I have a short testimony for you. Before I went to church, my mother shoot a tons of obnoxious words to us. She said that we were always late every time we go to church. She said we weren't serious attending to church and we only like to have fun outside. It huts and I couldn't stop myself but to gave her a snort and held grudges to her. I hated her. How could she said such things? We went to church and I was so angry that I even mocked the priest who's speaking poorly. I could not understand any words he said and that really pissed me off. But then, I heard him said; Love like Jesus. And I know at that point, God was talking to me. The priest said that the way to love God with all our mind and our heart is to love others like Him. Later on, I repented and pray for my mother. Holding peace is more better than holding grudges that will not give any good thing to you.
Sometimes, we hate our parents. I know, I've been there too. Who wouldn't be angry though? You tried to fix your mess but they're gonna point the other mess. You are trying to be better, but what do they do? Point what you lack. You always have to be better. And believe me, sometimes I even thought that I would never be better for them. All they could see was my mistake. I hurts. But I wonder, if I didn't forgive them, maybe I will never know that the reason why I am still in this house is because they care for me.
They make mistakes. They hurt you. Whether they keep doing it, or had been doing it in the past. But, look at the mirror. Haven't you hurt anyone? Do you always understand how people think? Do you always know how they feel? Come on, what if the thoughts that seems right to you seems wrong to them, and the thoughts that seems wrong to them seems right to you?
You will never know how others think or feel. People thought they are right. We all think we are right. So, why don't you dive into their thought and question yourself?
So, if God said pray for them, make your parents proud, especially your mother. It means that HE KNOWS how they feel. You don't know how they think or feel because we all judge with our eyes. We all let the devil whisper to us. But God is always there to deliver you from that temptations. Because He knows how you think about your parents and how they think about you. HE KNOWS.
You think that they always see your mistake despite the way you strive to be better. But maybe, they are thinking too that you always see how they scold you despite the fact that they work for your needs. I mean, we are not doing things so they could repay you. Think about this, what if just as they cannot look at the things you have done for them, you also cannot look at the things they have done for you.
So, darling. They hurt you? Forgive. You feel an outcast to them? Maybe you're the one who's hiding from them because of that thought. They hate you? Well, how don't we try to love them? Because trust me, no one will learn how to love if there is no one who will teach them how to.
Make them proud. Not for yourself. But for them and for your mother.
Maybe they are just waiting for you to show that love, so they can show theirs too.
