Lynn is a sixteen year old typical loner artist and likes everything just the way it is.
However, when her father dies of cancer she has to pack up her life and move to America to live with her estranged mother, who abandoned her when she was born.
But moving to America has it's challenges, driving on the right, the twisted language, a new school and her future.
Once she is eighteen, Lynn promises herself that she will run straight back to England.
But as friendships blossom and truths are uncovered, there might be some point in staying in America after all.
