Jungkook and Jimin were college mates. They became connected through various college activities and eventually start dating. Jungkook is from a middle class family while Jimin was an orphan who got in college through scholarships and sponsorships.

They get married in an intimate wedding with just family and close friends. Jungkook's mom didn't approve of Jimin in the beginning as she had someone else in mind for her son but Jimin changed her mind soon enough. But that didn't mean she didn't wish Jungkook married A/N instead, the daughter of her best friend whom she had promised a long time ago.

After 3 months of marriage, Jimin gets pregnant and Jungkook couldn't be happier. This was the best moment of their lives, till it wasn't.

Jimin , throughout his pregnancy, started acting weird - he was emotionless at times, forgetful, irritated and stubborn- very much unlike his usual sweet character - sometimes it felt like Jimin forgot he was pregnant. Jungkook assumed it was the pregnancy hormones but there was still something about Jimin that bothered him. He talked to Jimin's doctor, the one A/N recommended to his mom, who said that these were quite normal. And then out of nowhere, Jimin had a miscarriage and his indifference to the loss made Jungkook upset. It looked like Jimin didn't want the baby.

The constant fights and misunderstandings, the silence between them - draw the two apart. Obviously the two loved each other, cared for each other but Jimin couldn't show it after the pregnancy and miscarriage, it was like his personality changed. Jungkook tried to be understanding and loving but Jimin's indifference made it really hard. A relationship works when both put an effort.

Whenever Jungkook would ask Jimin a favor - for example to drop a file of his to his office on Jimin's way to his own workplace, the boy would promise and then not do it. On asking about it Jimin would argue that Jungkook never asked him for it. It was things like this that showed their relationship wasn't meant to be. Jungkook was tired of understanding his husband but he would never think of a divorce. Never, no matter how much his mom was begging him to after pointing out everything wrong that Jimin did at home or being disrespectful to her and Jungkook

Jimin starts getting sick often and having dizzy spells, Jungkook on knowing this takes the boy to the doctor that his mom suggested - the doctor declared that Jimin was alright and maybe the boy was just acting for attention. All this made their relationship worse.

Their anniversary was approaching and Jungkook decides to throw a party to celebrate their marriage. He also wanted to use it as a chance to express his love for his husband and have a talk with the boy about his concerns for their future. Jimin never shows up to the party.

"He will come mom... I know... he promised... he was so happy about it yesterday night..." Jungkook tries to calm his mom who was angry that Jimin was embarrassing them at the venue

The clock strikes 12 midnight and Jungkook finally gets out a sob. Every guest had left by then, his family too but he waited, waited for Jimin to come. He had called Jimin many times but the boy's phone was off. Noone knew where Jimin was. Jimin wasn't home. Just as he was about to go to the police station to file a missing person, he receives a message on his phone from Jimin stating that he needs a break. That was the message, no other explanations. Jungkook was devastated

There was no news from Jimin after that. Jungkook searched wherever he could for the boy but he couldn't find Jimin. He gave up hope after nearly 1 year but Jungkook's heart and thoughts were always thinking about Jimin

Jungkook's mom always tries to get Jungkook to file that Jimin had left the marriage so he could get an automatic divorce and move on with A/N but obviously Jungkook doesn't agree.

And then nearly after two years, Jungkook opens the door to find Jimin standing outside it

"H-Hey..."

Jungkook couldn't believe it

His eyes water as he pulls the boy into the tightest hug, afraid that Jimin would vanish if he let go

"Please don't let it be a dream...please..." Jungkook whispers

"I'm here... and I'm so sorry..." Jimin cries as well

Jungkook takes Jimin inside and the boy tells Jungkook what had happened to him 2 years ago

On the Anniversary day, Jimin fainted at work and was taken to a hospital by his colleagues. The doctor after enquiring about Jimin's state of mind and symptoms and various tests told him that he was being poisoned from a long time. Jimin didn't know what to do, all he knew was he needed to talk to Jungkook about this. While he was driving to Jungkook's office, he gets into an accident. A/N was the one who caused the accident as she got news that Jimin found out about his condition and she bribes the doctor to transfer Jimin to another hospital in Daegu after the ambulance brings him there.

Jimin regains consciousness after nearly 6 months but had a memory loss. Jimin makes friends with the nurse who was taking care of him, stays with her and starts working as a pharmaceutical help as Jimin sounded and acted educated even if he didn't have memories of himself. He earned a living like that and repaid the debt he had to the hospital

Jimin later after regaining his memory remembers what the doctor said about him having being drugged with a hallucinogen - he remembers vaguely being made to believe by his mother in law that Jungkook was the cause of the miscarriage and that Jungkook didn't like him

Jungkook was shocked and he immediately understood who was behind this, A/N - she was the daughter of a pharmaceutical company owner and definitely had access to drugs. She had also tried to seduce him and say negative things about Jimin many times. That's why he never entertained her advances for friendship

Jungkook doesn't let anyone know that Jimin is back and tries to collect everything possible against A/N and gets her arrested and his mom, he cuts all contact with her

They move to Daegu to start a new life together with the nurse that supported Jimin for over two years.

Jungkook and Jimin, they sit on the beach watching the sunset as Jimin rested his head on Jungkook's shoulders

"I love you Jimin" Jungkook says bringing their joined hands to his lips for a kiss

"I love you too Jungkook"
