"Yang, quit" Ben approached Miranda

"You are such a gossip Ben Warren"

"He hangs with Mark and Derek. Also terrible gossips" Callie joked

"Man this hospital can't seem to keep anyone" He shook his head " I wonder if she'll come back"

"Well, she did suffer a traumatic experience and then didn't really cope with it. Maybe she'll be happier in a different hospital or something after some time off" Miranda shrugged " Who knows"

"True we took time off and came back" Ben nodded

"She straight up quit though" Callie looked at them " I" 'm not so sure if or when she'd do surgery again"

"So how are you coping with Arizona not being here" Ben asked

"Me or her" Miranda pointed to Callie

"Sorry Callie I didn't think about how you must be feeling" Ben sheepishly said

"No, it's fine. Everyone just forgets about me. My girlfriend dumped me and left for Africa" She hit her head on the counter of the nurses station.

"No she didn't forget about you" Ben comforted her

"She did leave her though" Miranda mumbled "Left me too"

"Seriously" He looked at her

"Well it's true" She glanced at him and continued to sip her coffee

"I see you're using your hand without issue" He changed the subject

"I've been putting in hard work. But listening to my body" She smiled

"Proud of you" He kissed her forehead "I will not kiss you at work but damn do I want to" He chuckled remembering her lecture

"Control yourself" She chuckled, patting his cheek softly

"Can you two care about me for one minute" Callie groaned

"We care about you" Miranda patted her back attempting to comfort her friend. But at this point, she was tired of hearing about the fact that Arizona left. She no longer wanted to hear that her teacher and friend was going to be in Africa, a place she herself wanted to go to for 3 years.  She just wanted to forget it all.

"Stark" Ben warned. Miranda hid behind the nurses' station. She hated this new peds surgeon and she hated being under him. So she did her best to appear busy whenever he came around

"Warren was it," Stark asked

"Dr.Stark" Ben greeted him

"And Torres" He smiled at Callie

She barely acknowledged him as she kept her head on the counter.

"And uh Dr.Bailey. I wasn't aware you were now a nurse" He cleared his throat

"Stark" She stood up "I was looking for a chart"

"Oh really, You see Robbins told me she had a promising fellow. Right now all I have is a resident. Tell me how are you doing a fellowship in pediatric surgery if I never see you in pediatric surgery"

"Alex Karev built cartilage. As a resident. He is the man you want to be working with"

"Need I remind you about OR hours" He crossed his arms

"I get in the OR" She replied

"Just the other day she was in the OR with me. I did surgery on a kid's broken arm" Callie interjected

Miranda braced herself, knowing what was coming next. This wasn't the first time he approached her about leading surgeries instead of assisting or being there in an advisory role.
