"Don't think I forgot you thought it was a good idea to approach my boss saying I was pushing myself too hard" Miranda rolled her eyes as they walked into work. She was yet again bringing this up to him. He wasn't sure why this was a conversation he kept running into. In the car, he commented on their schedules and it led her into this rant.

"Baby can we let that go, look how long ago that was" He sighed "You're done with your fellowship. You're an attending now and you have a fellow of your own"

"No, we cannot let that go, what were you thinking Benjamin Warren" She fussed as they got on the elevator "And he's Robbins problem, not mine"

"I was trying to do the right thing" He sighed "That bunch will always be your problem"

"Currently my fiancé is my problem. When you leave the house yawning do I run to the head of anesthesia and say Dr.Warren has been yawning"

"No, you do not" He shook his head

"No, I do not" She repeated " Can't believe you"

"Why do we keep rehashing this argument" He asked " This is the third time this week. I did something dumb months ago but I made up for it by now. Don't you think"

"By doing what exactly. Annoying me about a wedding?"

"Absolutely not what I was going to say" He shook his head

"Good answer" She nodded

"Yes Ma'am Ms.Chief Of Pediatric Surgery," He asked

Arizona was out sick along with Callie. Likely something they picked up from their daughter Sofia, their one-year-old. Kids are little germ magnets after all. They both had been out for a few weeks. Leaving Miranda in charge of Pediatric Surgery.

"Ben, I'm not the chief of pediatrics," she clarified "I'm just making sure things run smoothly in Robbin's absence and I can't do that with you distracting me."

"I'm not a distraction"

"You totally are"

"I will see you at lunch" She patted his cheek as she stepped out of the elevator " Love you" She called to him before the doors closed.

Miranda found joy in leading her team, guiding them through the complexities of patient care, and working together to make a difference in the lives of their young patients.

Being in a position of leadership allowed Miranda to utilize her skills and expertise to their fullest extent, empowering her to make decisions that had a meaningful impact on the department and its patients. She embraced the opportunity to mentor and support her colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone felt valued and heard.

As she witnessed the positive outcomes of their efforts and saw the difference they were making in the lives of their patients, Miranda felt a deep sense of pride and satisfaction. She found fulfillment in knowing that she was contributing to the well-being of others and leading her team with compassion, dedication, and integrity.

As Miranda diligently filled out patient charts, she was surprised to feel a familiar presence approaching. Looking up, she saw Richard Webber, standing before her with a warm smile on his face.

"Richard," Miranda exclaimed, a mix of surprise and delight in her voice. "What brings you by peds?"

Richard returned her smile, his eyes reflecting a sense of pride and admiration. "I just wanted to say how proud I am of you, Bailey," he said sincerely. "You've really stepped up to the plate in your role overseeing the pediatric surgery department. You're doing a fantastic job."
