The day spun by, each lesson more boring than the last and by noon, we were all sat in Mal and Evie's dorm, Jay flexing his jersey before sitting down in front of me.

I scowled at my twin and began fiddling with his messy hair.

He tried to swat me away but gave up after I persisted. No brother of mine was going to look like a sewer rat.

"Did your plan work with Jane? You going over to see the wand?" He asked me and Mal, clearly trying as hard as we were to get this over with.

I scoffed at him and turned back to my necklace. "Do you think we'd be going through every fucking spell used by my necklace or in the spell book if we hadn't completely struck out?!" I snapped at him.

"Well someone is in a bad mood..." Carlos mumbled, sat on the floor scratching Dude's head.

Mal huffed, "My mom is counting on me, I can't let her downm" She flicked the back of his head, making the boy turn around and glare at her.

"We can do this!" Jay said, everyone turning their attention to him, "If we stick together."

I slowly nodded my head as I picked up the necklace and fastened it around my throat.

"And we won't go back until we do." Mal said, the sentence being more of a question than a statement.

"Because we're rotten-" I started.

"To the core."

Everyone nodded and went back to whatever they were doing to try and find a plan as Evie spoke up, "Oh yeah I found out Fairy Godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear of course."

The four of us stared at her incredulously, Mal's mouth wide open.

"What?" The blue-haired girl asked, just as a knock sounded on the door.

"You're just telling us this, now?" I scoffed, folding my arms against my chest.

Mal got up from her spot on the bed saying, "Hold that thought."

When she opened the door, it was none other than Prince Ben stood in the hallway.

"Hey!" He smiled as he looked into her eyes, it was clear to me that he had a thing for Maleficent's daughter. "I didn't get a chance to see you guys today, I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything that you needed..."

He waited for the purple-haired girl to answer but she just shook her head and turned to us, who also had nothing to say.

"Not that I know of..." Mal attempted to smile, but in fact she really just wanted the Prince gone.

"Oh- okay! Well uh, if you need anything just uh-"

"OH WAIT!" I yelled after him, causing Mal to raise an eyebrow. "Coronation." I reminded her.

Mal gasped and asked, "Oh right! Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?"

The Prince smiled and nodded at Mal.

"Yeah the whole school goes." Ben answered.

Mal's face lit up like it was free lunch day at the slop shop, "Wow that is beyond exciting... um, do you think it's a possibility that the five of us could sit in the front row next to Fairy Godmother just so we could soak up all that goodness?"

The Prince smiled at her request and was about to agree until he remembered something, "I wish you could, but up front it's just me, my advisor, my folks, my second and our girlfriends."
