It's been pretty quiet in home lately. Sometimes me and Johnnie hang out and laugh in the living room but overall, it's still quiet.
I walked over to Johnnies room and of course, I knocked on the door.
"Yeah?"
"Can I come in?"
"Im streaming right now! You can come in if you want!"
"Sure."
I walked in and saw that chat was spamming my name. I greeted them and talked to them for a while.
"Was there something you wanted to tell me or did u just want to come in because you were bored?"
"I'll tell you later! Ima go get something to eat, you want something?"
"Can I come with you?"
"Yeah! I'll wait for you downstairs!"
"Okkkk!!"
I walked out of his room and made my way downstairs, putting on my shoes and walked over to the couch and sat and watched random videos.
"Okay, im ready!"
"Okay!!"
I grabbed my keys and made my way to the car. We drove to Daves hot chicken and got some food and went back inside the car.
"Johnnie. It's been pretty quiet in home. I was wondering if maybe we should get a pet!"
"Jake, we barely even know how to take care of our selves."
"Plus, we're always busy. Who's going to be there whenever it needs us?"
"Right... maybe I can ask Tara?.."
"I don't know.. sure, ask her. But I doubt we're even going to keep it for a long time."
"Yayy!! Lemme call her!"
I called Tara and told her about what Johnnie and I were talking about. Eventually, Johnnie gave in and we went over to Petsmart and walked over to where the cats were and stared at them.
"Jake! Look at that one!"
"Which?"
"The white one! Its so cute!"
I've never seen Johnnie so exited about getting a pet. He didn't even want one!
"Let's get that one!"
"Yippie!!"
We took the cat back home and made sure to buy everything the little rat needed. We let the cat roam around, wanting it to get used to the place. Johnnie sat on the couch trying to get the cats attention by leading it with toys.
"What should we name him?"
"It's a boy?"
"Yeah!" Johnnies hold the cat in front of my trying to me it was a boy. "I don't wanna look at it's red rocket!... since it's white, let's name it ghost!"
"That's such a basic name! Ima name him cum!"
"What?! We're not going to name the little guy cum!"
"Whatever. Ima still call him cum!"
There was a knock on the door and Tara came in like she owned the place.
"Oh my god! He's so cute and fluffy! What's it's name?"
"Ghost-"

"Both. He got two names."

Tara helped me unpack all of the things the little stinker needed, while Johnnie kept playing with the cat, chasing it around, then getting chased, and all that stuff.
"Johnnie really seems to like him!" Tara pointed out,
"You know what surprises me? He didn't even want to have one! But it seems like he fell in love with the little guy!"
"You jealous?"
"No! That little guy is our son! We're both dads now!"
"Who gave birth!"
"Johnnie. Who else?"We both laughed out loud.
Tara then left and I was left alone while Johnnie gave all his attention to the cat.
"Look! He's drinking water!"
"Ima go to bed, wanna come with so we can cuddle?"
"Only if cum can cum! Hah! Get it?!"
"Yeah, yeah, hurry up im tired!"
Johnnie walked behind me with the cat wrapped around his arm. I immediately laid down and waited for Johnnie to get in bed with me and when he did, he had his back turned to me and ended up cuddling with the cat instead of me!
"You really love that cat huh?"
"Yep! I love him more than you!"
"Damn. Might as well return the cat tomorrow"
"C'mon Jake! I was jokingg!" Johnnie began to whine,
"I know! I was just joking, no need to worry about it!"
"Ugh, night Jake"
"Night!!"
